Elitist has nothing to do with it. I have a Wii and have no problem saying their graphics are sub par for what consoles can do today. That said, I haven't touched it for about a year and a half, but still look at reviews for games that come out on it. Wife uses it for the Fit and such games.

It's like watching Toy Story today and arguing it's quality because its CGI doesn't look like Avatar's.

Out of all 3 of my systems the wii obviously sees the least amount of play. But when a game that does appeal to me comes out I am sure to snatch it up. No ones disagreeing with the wii having subpar graphics, obviously it wasn't meant to compete with the PS3 and 360 on a visual level. But looks aren't the end all be all of games.


I think more people have a problem with you saying "even though those graphics are for under 12 year olds." Plasmid was merely calling out you are like those think-they-know it all 13 year old gamers who think they are the shiznit on xbox live, and are just little punks who know nothing about gaming. To them COD4 is the greatest game ever made and Halo is old school. And being honest your pompous attitude came across in such a manner.

I didn't get to play it much today (because of the Lost finale), but so far it feels just as solid as the first Mario Galaxy.

Yeah, juggling this and Red Dead Redemption with Alan Wake still in its plastic wrap is not easy to do with limited time to play.

Dammit I thought spring and summer were slow times for games!!! Metroid is out next month..

Wanted to see what everyone thinks and how everyone is doing in game.

I have close to 5 hours into it and I'm at the end of world 3 with about 30 stars or so. Some levels are so fun and relaxing and some are so hard and frustrating. True mario style.

thank god for unemployment RDR and MG2 are my two "currently playing" as well, and they're fabulous!

I've been playing SMG2 nonstop this holiday weekend thus far.

It's just so fun, I'm just about to beat world 4. And there are 7 worlds I hear. Looks like I have a good while of gaming left.
