SMG2 doesn't show you if a galaxy has hidden stars does it? I just noticed I have a "galaxy complete" on only one galaxy, but I have all stars and comet coins on every galaxy I've hit so far. Does this mean the other galaxies that I think were completed but are lacking the "galaxy completed" crown have hidden stars?

You just need to wait for the comet star to appear in those galaxies to complete theme.

Just got this today and started playing with the wife (we always play the Mario games together) and its a lot of fun. Feels just like the first, but happy about the addition of Yoshi.

Only 3 stars in, but have a feeling a lot of this weekend will be spent playing :rock

No joke I'm about 40 stars in and spent the greater part of today playing. It feels so good, world 5 is starting get challenging. Tough little galaxy I was in today.

How big is the co-op for this game guys. Just a few stages?

Like Starkiller said, you can play every level in co-op. The P2 is great for anybody who isn't a full-time gamer (I refuse to use the C-word here) but will be lacking for anybody looking for some substance. P2 can use an on-screen cursor to grab hard to reach items and stun enemies (including Chomp-Chomps and moving electric fences!).

I've been playing bot ways on two separate save files, and I can say the game is *much* easier with a co-pilot.

I don't get why nintendo couldn't implement the old 2 player system from the days of old? One player plays as Mario, the next turn player two gets to play as Luigi. Heck they could trow toad and princess in there for a harken back to SMB2. It wouldn't be hard. Or on the same screen at the same time would be killer fun as well...like maybe battle modes like the old Mario Brothers game or when you would select a stage mario would beat...

Like this same idea with bigger galaxy levels:

That would be tight as F. They should really do that if you plan to make a SMG3.

I'm a little scared to say that my SMG1 is still in it's wrapper sitting next to my Wii.....just haven't gotten around to it yet :(

Finally got to
Luigi!!!

I dunno if that's a spoiler or not, but better safe than sorry.

It seems he runs faster but slides before stopping. Are there any other differences?
