Finally had a chance to get stuck in on this today.

Sheer awesomeness. Just completed world 1.

Really need to get back into it after Arkham Asylum.

This games good, but I want the next Mario game to be a different formula rather than Galaxy. 2 is enough...

We had Mario World, Galaxy, and now it's time for...UNIVERSE!!!

I just started play the first Mario Galaxy and I have to say I'm really enjoying it.

I'm surprised because I had no desire to get it, but my girlfriend got it for me as a gift...and now, I'm hooked!

I guess I was "turned off" initially by the looks of the game. The whole 3-D, running upside down, right side up, etc. etc. concept.

But honestly, the handling/controls are pretty darn good. The camera angle gets a little touchy, once in a blue moon, but I really can't complain.

Better late than never, I guess. This game is really a testament to Miyamoto's team. I mean, on paper, it's just more of the same. But the level design is just so good that it feels entirely new.

Sadly, this is what happened to me. I thought Mario Galaxy 1 was fantastic, and I really liked what i played of 2, but I got distracted by other games, and I can only play one game at a time. I still have God of War collection and Red Dead Redemption to start playing, half of Mass Effect 2 to finish on Insanity difficulty, Another playthrough of Dead Space 2 to finish, Marvel vs Capcom 3 training, the continual online games of Super Street Fighter 4, not to mention Dragon age 2 comes out in a few weeks.

Poor Mario =(
