The new paint does soften her features and the waving hand is a little better but I still find the face sculpt lacking and unattractive.

I would almost rather go back to the saluting idea now than whatever she is doing now. Although it would go great with a Deadpool giving her a crisp high five, if we could get that tho. Otherwise I will probably wait for a discount or pass on this one for now.
Supergirl should be attractive and younger. IMO that is neither.
Disappointing.

That is not the same face from the 1st sculpt. I thought CaHobbitt said that wouldn't change. We need a good front shot cause that angle shot ain't really cutting it for me.
I think they were only changing the paint app on the face and the position of the hand.

Yep, that's right, making her a lighter tone. And that is a whole new face. But the more I look at her, the more she's appealing to me. I'm sold, I'm gonna get her.

Nothing will ever top Rogue.
But I understand the frustration. Instead of making two dynamite portraits, I suspect they've split the effort between two Supergirls. I'm fully expecting a Dark Supergirl down the line.
But if you're going to alter the hand.... why not add another portrait!
The hair looks redone, definitely the same face. As others have said the left arm/hand is? Looks better but at the higher price point I will still say no. IMO unless the ES is super low, which I do not think will happen. This will be available for a long time.

The before was shown at SDCC the after was shown last year at NYCC. Its not new, the paint however was changed.

Yeah, I think I can see that now, but the lighter tone had it off for me. The hair looks unchanged. Next week this baby goes for pre-order and I'm getting mine.

The makeup is way too heavy... And they messed up the hand. It was fine at NYCC.

The good - both the paints and the hand placement are better than what was shown at SDCC.
The bad - still not a fan of the head sculpt, including the face and the flowing hair. Easy pass.
