A tiny bit. I'm more into fantasy myself. I love Marvel movies, but I just can't seem to get into comic books. Some of the art is just downright fugly. And the boobs....that's not how boobs work. :lol

I can identify with you on this. I check my email->marvel news
Facebook -> marvel movie news. Even from people who care less about superheros
instagram -> hot toy pics or artist sketches of superheros
And I'm the resident "comic book dude" at work, so sometimes I get questions like "how can wolverine die!?" before I even get a chance to clock in.
And now spongbob and barbie have superhero-esque movies. Even Ralph Lauren has a leather bomber jacket with a patch that says 'S.Rogers' on it.
My 12 year old self out go nuts. But I was worn out and suffering from superhero fatigue too...........
Until I saw the latest Avengers trailer.:gah: Now I'm hyped for this stuff againl

I know this is practically blasphemy, but I'm not really into superheroes. I don't hate them or anything, they just aren't something that has ever kept my attention. I enjoy the Batman movies for what they are, but with the exception of The Dark Knight, I don't think I've watched any superhero movie more than once, maybe twice. I've still never seen a lot of them, like Captain America and most of the Superman films.

That being said, I don't really have fatigue, but I am disinterested in 90% of what's coming down the line. Ant-Man? Fantastic Four? Age of Ultron? None of them excite me. I even saw the first Avengers and enjoyed it - I'm just not invested in any of the characters through their respective comics to care about them. Had I read the comics, perhaps that would be different.

So, fatigue, not necessarily, but I would rather see something else instead of superhero movies!

Well, no. In this current wealth of offerings of comic things I like, I'm happy. But when it comes to anything, I don't force myself to do things I'd rather avoid.

Like watching Superhero films in our own virtual reality cinemas. :lol
Actually given what's going on with Oculus, Sony, Samsung and eventually Google and Apple, I would not be surprised to see a big migration to immersive entertainment on an individual and small group level. So movies that are released in the theater will probably have enhanced features for personal 3D. The cinematic experience will probably evolve to a degree with higher tech immersive theaters and higher ticket prices for major blockbusters, although all the bells and whistles won't be necessary for Jane Eyre flicks.

blasphemy, Mr. Green mentally got u on ignore list and ur basically banned!

ahem, yea anyway, Mr. Green's still trying to figure out how to save the world in his head. Ultron's view of peace or save the world at the end as apocalypse approach.

I might sometimes get fatigued discussing it (which of course, is my own fault), but not really watching them. I don't watch comic movies every day, or every month even, so I don't really get worn out of them.
Tired of seeing the current batch of heroes. Look forward to the new ones coming in.
Same here.

I'm fatigued by the lack of quality of blockbusters, CBM included.

my problem is not really the characters themselves but i do have a little bit of a problem on how the stories feel recycled from one another. A lot of these movies feel very similar to each other and they all tend to have the same structure.

I know a lot of movies have this problem as well (Like horror movies) But in the case of superhero movies it is much more obvious since they are coming out so close to each other and in the Case of Marvel they are making one giant universe.

It's like, you could replace one hero from one movie with another one of Marvel's heroes and there wouldn't be that much of a difference in how the story plays out.

The two hulk movies feel like a remake of each other. The final fight in most super hero movies (Marvel or others) ends up playing out the same way.
the Bad guys in these movies tend to be pretty close to each other as well (You could replace the bad guy from one super hero movie to another and it wouldn't really change the story that much)

The action scenes in all these movies tend to feel identical, characters' motivations feel identical sometimes, You Know the good guy will win so the final battles feel underwhelming sometimes

I mean, Even the Avengers 2 is starting to look like it has the exact same structure as the first one. I hope not, I am excited for that one, but still...

I think that's why so many people were so happy with Guardians of the Galaxy, it was so refreshing to have a movie like that. Technically it still follows some of the same characteristics as the other ones, but it felt very refreshing.

So, I don't have hero fatigue, but I do have plot fatigue and structure fatigue.... some of these movies feel the same, play out the same, action scenes end up looking the zsame.

(Marvel now kind of reminds me of how the Power Rangers episodes used to be the same thing week after week with only the bad guy changing but everything playing out the same way :lol)

This is why I love me some Gotham and Agent Carter. Less flash, more character development, yet still having that sense of wonderment in the idea of a superhero.

I'm tired of the Marvel stuff lets substitute humor for story it's getting old.
