Back when they had a Superhero movie coming out once every couple of years, it was a cool thing. Now, every other movie is a Superhero movie and they all seem the same to me. I mean, Spider-Man going on it's 3rd reboot ? Yeah, getting old. First Iron Man was good, next 2 crap. First Thor was good, 2nd horrible. 1st Captain America boring, 2nd enjoyable on first watch. Avengers was overhyped and got boring on repeat viewings. The Spider-Man movies ? Yuck. The only ones I can rewatch and still enjoy are the First Iron Man and the Dark Knight trilogy.
I've actually got Armchair Director fatigue, it's pretty much the same as an Armchair Quarterback except for movies.
The Movie & TV Show forum is full of them.
The people saying "No" didn't surprise me.
90% of this section is practically Superhero: The Movie, nobody really wants to discuss anything other than the blockbuster.
Like you said, everything in moderation.
Whose fault is that though? There are plenty of potential great non superhero films coming out this year, but I don't see any threads for those films A lot of people complain about over saturation, yet they don't anything about it.
RIDDICK's opinion is the only one that did surprise me. I expected a yes.
Great post, that is so true.
