I am sorry you are right if you look at the most strict definition of a homonym. If I remember correctly they have to my words that are spelt the same, but mean different things like "bark". However, in many areas the word homonym and homophone are used interchangeably, and homonyms are taught in text books under the basic definition of a homophone

OK, back to the bust, gents. Which Batman bust would you guys say will complement the Supes one better? The original black and gray or the latest blue and gray repaint?

Spelt and spelled mean the same thing to MOST of the civilized world. You know the parts of the world that use the logical and straight forward METRIC system, not the backass Imperial system used by the States. Oh and keep something in mind ... Spelling varies around the world. However, no excuse... I was an engineer and excel image and science... My spelling SUCKS!!!!

I say the OG black goes better with Supe, they contrast each other perfectly, Batman is dark and brooding while Superman is bright and cheery.

Could you photoshop the blue bust with the Superman bust? The black and gray bust looks great with Superman.

I agree with you the metric system is better and I wish us backward *** heathens down here in the wild west used it. But in most of the civilized world, part of what makes it civilized is the use of proper spelling and grammar otherwise you just come off as ig'nant.

Besides I'm just trying to help you, with all those posts you have now the newbs just coming in think you actually know what you're talking about and we don't want them to find out the truth!

Totally! I wish I could afford both, the blue with Joker bust and the black with the JLA!

A few ways to look at this:

1. If you are ONLY planning on getting Bats and Supes bust then BLACK is the best Bats to choose.

2. If you are getting the Batman PF then the classic BLUE is the better compliment. The black bust is just a larger version of the PF so it seems redundant. The blue is the classic Adams, superfriends and Dark Knight Returns outfit.

3. BLACK or BLUE would work well in a Justice League bust set up. Black has the definite modern look on who Batman is. You can't go wrong with it. The blue is the classic comic book look that works well with these since they are not super realistic or anything. Edge to the blue for me as you can see the sculting details better.

Good points! Hadn't thought about #2 that actually makes a lot of sense. Though you could also look at it as the bust is a zoomed in view of the PF and therefore a compliment instead of a redundancy?
