Russel is still kind of an ass (but he seems to be getting a better) but those Glau guys are even more so now. I doubt Russel wins because his luck will run out eventually but those purple guys need to be put in their place first.

i haven't been keeping up on this season, but i'm sure glad i caught tonights episode. has to be one of if not best show ever. now i have to catch next week to see them chasing russell around

The preview for next week looks good too with everyone running around in the woods, lol.

From 8-4 to 7-4 and now 6-5.

Eric's expressions as the lone jury member were priceless too. If Russell makes it to the end you can tell he has Eric's vote.

the best way to use the idol is to just use it the first tribal council you go to after finding it. you just play it and say, "hey, I didn't know if I needed it or not might as well play it."

I think by playing it, you actually get a monkey and a huge target off your back.

Like I said, you play the idol when you got it. No point being eliminated with it in your pocket.

Medusa is gone so it's really a toss up on who will be next....even though the preview made it look like Russell again...but I think they've played that out on the previews too many times.

I don't get why if the purple team was willing to sacrifice that chick why they didn't just target russell and see if he played the idol? what was the point of voting for the blonde?

also, i don't like that they change the tie breaker rule.

I just forgot his name but the guy who said he would be willing to go to the rocks is a total and complete idiot. He woudl risk himself going to keep one of those two... DUH.

It was John's (I think that's his name), the analytical numbers dude, idea to go for Nat, and he was the one who flopped I believe, once his head got put on chopping block by rest of his tribe, so I think John played it really well than to suggest Russell.

I agree, one of the best seasons. And Russell still has it. Not sure if he told anyone or not. It was sort of weird how all of the sudden, everyone just stopped looking for the idol.

Last night's episode was pretty good. John's equation made sense. Target Natalie because she could be playing both sides, she was buddy/buddy with Laura and Monica but also playing the Foa Foa side of it. If they knock her out, then one less Foa Foa and the possible double agent gone.

I'm glad to see that John decided to write Laura's name down, going to the stones would have been stupid. You don't risk a million dollars to stay in an alliance that isn't very strong to begin with. Numbers only work when its a solid progression, the Galu tribe's decision to knock out their own first up showed the break in solidarity.

Russell has another and Dave should be beat over the head for following Russell running in the woods instead of really scoping out the moss area since that is where the Idol turned out. Russell hasn't told anyone yet but I'm sure he will next episode. He has quickly gone from the one I hate to the one I'm rooting for.

Palau, Panama, Cook Islands and Gabon were the only seasons out of 20 that used firemaking as the tie-breaker. The original all the way back to Season 1 was the rock choosing, it was used in Marquesas during the Final Four...

i can't recall which season it was, but the one tie breaker were niether one of the people could start a fire even with matches was fackin hilarious.
