Now that's a diorama I can see myself buying!

I think the classic poster pose of the two of them with saber blades crossed might have been better, but this one looks pretty good too. And the base (from the shot we can see) looks perfect.

Although, I just thought of something. Between this and the Crack of Doom dio, does anyone else notice a slight preoccupation at Sideshow with lava-themed pieces? ;)

Interesting! Will be getting some of these for sure. Maul vs Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, Ep 3 Obi-Wan vs Vader, Ep4 Obi-Wan vs Vader, plus a few more.

Add Mace vs Sidious, Palpatine vs. Luke, Luke vs Vader (Ep 5 & 6), Obi-Wan vs. Grievous, Rancor and Luke, Leia killing off Jabba and about a bagillion others to my wants list, but then again, it's also about execution and selection of the moments, I wasn't too happy with the execution of the Luke Yoda PF but the concept was nice, so some of these I make like on paper but seeing them may not be what I'd want to represent the moment, but the cool part is this should be kinda like Unleashed figures but with a strong representation of the movie appearance.

Looks great!!

I'll be getting these for sure. They are a bit small but that's fine by me. It'll make them much cheaper and since they are smaller I'll have enough room for all of them.

The only downside from this announcement is that I'll probably won't collect the LOTR dios. I just don't have enough room or money for that matter for both. I might pick up a select few LOTR dios but I certainly won't be getting them all.

Can't wait to see the Ewoks vs. Biker Scout dio. :monkey5

OMG, yes !!!! 2007 is gonna be a great SW and LOTR year for me. I have always loved dioramas. :chew

Right! Like with the LOTR line I'll be getting several just not the whole thing.

Love this piece!

And you guys have pretty much said it all already. Yes, it's like the Unleashed line in polystone form. And yes, it'll have a nice price range ($50-$350), so it will not be too hard on the wallet all the time.

And I'll be getting it all... I hope. :joy

I gotta find me a sperm bank. Maybe I can get paid for something I do anyway

How much can I get for a good kidney on today's black market? :monkey3

I seriously don't know how the hell I'm going to be able to pull this off.

That's cool. I don't know if I can afford it though. But if it's in the same price range as the LOTR diorama then that'll be good.

Don't be fooled. That LOTR piece will probably be the cheapest one we ever get.

I'm assuming this one will be about $200

Those commenting about the scale, you do realize that the Marvel VS dios are approximately 1/9 as well, right? Just wondering... any bigger and there'd be nowhere to put them!! :google
