We know for a fact teemu wouldn't get scurvy. Other than that it's just a hazardous guess by anyone who isn't a health professional. I never get the flu and I never eat oranges nor take St John's wort. I don't even take teemu's wort for much anymore. Am I suffering from the boy who cried wolf syndrome?

Anyone with a depressed immune system will fall foul of something or another. It's a higher probability that those living in a country with a deficient health system are more likely to die from this swine flu than others. Means a higher mortality rate for those countries. Now that it's spreading, hopefully the more resourced health systems will cope and reduce these numbers and lend a hand to those suffering across the globe.

Lucky you then. There was a nice several year stretch where I never had anything, I was as healthy as a horse. I must me an old man now

Definitely! Soap and hot water are best. We NEED a lot of bacteria in our bodies. The thing about Purell and the like is that they kill ALL bacteria, beneficial or not. (I have a preemie - I'm well-versed on all this stuff )

And I know it's useless to argue with Teemu... but yes, vaccinations do strengthen immune system function. Yes, it is true that a lot of vaccines contain very very minute traces of 'toxins' - but so does pretty much everything we ingest... did you know that organic produce is grown with ANIMAL POOP!!!???!!!

Of course eating healthy and taking *some* vitamins and letting your body fight colds and flus on its own (if it can) is best... but a world without vaccines is not a world I would want to live in! The benefits FAR outweigh the chance of harm.

I think chicken manure is the best. I heard it doesn't contain tuberculosis causing components like the other crap does. Maybe that's why bird turd is called super phosphate. Maybe it'd be more obvious if it were renamed super duper pooper phosphate.

What kind of flu vaccine are you taking? This is more conspiracy crap. I work in a medical related field. I can tell you that just about none of that is in an actual flu vaccine. You have one thing right and one kinda right. There are proteins in a flu shot. However, they are not yeast proteins. They are chicken proteins. Hence if you are allergic to eggs its probably not a good idea to get the shot. It is just about the same goods they put in your knee if you are having knee degeneration. That shot is called synvisc. The only thing on your list that is actually true is that the shot contains antibiotics. I don't know of a shot that doesn't.

But again I wouldn't expect a conspiracy person to believe the facts.
