His intent was to neutralize the threat in the quickest, most efficient way possible. The also convict people of crimes associated with vigilantism even if they don't kill people.
Batman's not the most law-abiding of citizens.

Guys, a little help please. Are there any issues with the latex suit on the genx core takarta batman figure? Does the rubber deteriorate and if so is there any way to prevent this?
Would like to know for sure before i shell out $200+ on a figure

The only issue that you might have (which I am facing) is dust!!!!!

It's been pointed out in numerous other reviews as well such as Michael Crawford's site etc. I'm thinking of getting an acrylic display case built to store him in.

So far, no issues with the suit yet although I don't have in him in extreme poses because it creases the suit at the joints like the elbows etc. But I can see where you're coming from and why you're having this fear, with the recent issues with the Hot Toys Appleseed figures.

This is what happened to one of my WWE Wrestling figures. It's a Kurt Angle figure with a bendable body which I got in a bargain bin for about USD $0.50. Managed to get a couple of figures but this is the only one with the rubber body which I got.

It was fine when I got it, no visible damage on the body but after posing it abit, this was the "after-effects". (If you must know, I had him in a German Suplex pose-with arms around the waist of another action figure I have, think its a Bravestarr figure)

Then again, you don't need to have the TAKARA Batman in extreme poses, he looks awesome just standing there, even with hands by his sides.
