$179.99.. which still blows.. and it originally started out at 164.99. Never was 150. I paid the 165 price.

They were referring to the first issue of the figure starting at $150 and rising to $199, saying how it's happening again with the second release since it started at $165 and now it's $180.

Joel does that a lot with hot pieces. When I used to buy Transformer Gen 1 reissues off of him he did the exact same thing.

And now rereading what the person had said I understand. That was on the initial release of the first run figures. I hate when companies do that. Oh well, I just should be thankful I got mine for the cheaper of the two listed prices.

No way would I pay 300 for this figure.

i know Action HQ was ready to charge when i cancelled . i figure ill just stick with BBTS

So you've bought through them before, will they honor the $165 if you pre-ordered it at that price or are you charged whatever the price is at shipping time?

Yes...they will. Joel at BBTS is one of the best and trusted retailers online. I've had many dealing with him and BBTS and his customer service is also reported to be great as well.

Unfortunately yes they do raise the prices...but I suspect aside from making a profit on a hot item that it is also to help with import costs and cancelled pre-orders as BBTS is one of the few places you can place and cancel pre-orders without any payment or restocking fees.

Boy you couldn't be more right about their service!!! I have bought from BBTS just the one time and can't say I have been more impressed with their service and packaging. My item came literally in a bullet proof box and in amazing shape of course.

Their service? Wow is all i'll say, I think i've had a reply about 4 or 5 times now all same day too! BBTS is great!

Here's another vote of confidence for BBTS!!

Unlike the crappy business practices of Cornerstore Comics. I placed a preorder with CSC for three 13" DCD Green Lantern figures for $64.99 each and received a confirmation and order approval emails from them. Today I received an email stating that the price was listed in error and they would be changing my order to reflect the "correct" price of $81.99 each.

:monkey4:monkey4:monkey4:monkey4

I promptly told them to shove the order and I placed one with BBTS. Cornerstore Comics SUCKS and they won't get another dime of my money! They can choke on the rest of the stuff I have preordered with them. :emperor:emperor:emperor

I've not had an issue with BBTS in my few dealings. My figure will get a kind of menacing Batman pose. I don't want to get TOO action oriented with it honestly.

164.99 ?????? im paying 166.99 ... BBTS is good in my book so far. they changed my payment method. they'll stay cool as long as i don't have to pay another 23.00 bucks.

BBTS is very good. only time i had problem with them was the power loader pre-order. it was listed @ $120 or $150 if i remember correctly. anyways, it was way cheap. of course, that was a total mistake. they jump the gun on pricing without knowing what the price would be. and the final price had to be changed. but that was it, all other purchases i had with them are great. :D

Suggestion Josh, if the figure will allow it and you like it of course, try a gargoyle-like pose for him, crouched on perch overseeing the people of Gotham. One thing I loved about Begins was how majestic some of the Batman moments were.

definitely true.. my packages go half way around the world and they are filled with so much bubble wrap + a thin plastic sheath to protect the collectible box from nicks and scratches. works lke a charm for those shiney hot toys hologram boxes:D

That's a good idea. I think I just might steal that one Sean.

I always liked that too, my old HT Batman was posed like that. At the highest point of my shelf, as if he were looking down on the entire collection. :rock

I look forward to shooting a Bale Batman for those reasons. With my Keaton Batman, it was about how light and shadow brought out the shapes of the mask throughout the movie. With Bale Batman, Batman was more of a silhouette throughout the movie than a defined look, so I want to capture that feel with the figure. The cape looks like it should lend itself very well to my image ideas.
