Box front is almost the same except for the change in Logo. The back shares the same artwork from the first release.
Accessories layout is the same.
Box features magnets instead of velcro to keep flap closed.
There's little else different.
Surprising, I thought they might work a THE DARK KNIGHT marketing strategy to be somewhat collector friendly with those that got it the first go around, since the suit will appear in that film, they could have said it's the TDK figure, though including the extras from when he first got the suit sort of negates that. I'm just glad they reissued it, Batman Begins came out a few months before I discovered Sideshow and Hot Toys and all that, so I never had any Begins figure, now I'm on top of it. Financially I'd be better of in the dark like before

are u serious? someone said the accessory tray could now be opened w/o cutting it. that's not the case w/ this new one?

It looked different when I first saw it, but just to be sure, You'll have to see it for yourself.
As you can see, the accessories layout is the same for both boxes:

You might see that there's more clearance from where the cardboard of the box meets the plastic insertion "flaps" of the shell that covers the accessories tray. It threw me off the first time I saw it.

I have not removed the accessories from the rerelease box (didn't really need to, had the stuff from the first release), but it seemed like I could remove the whole plastic shell without having to cut the damn thing. I'm not sure how far it extends into the cardboard front flap. The original shell didn't budge when I tried, so I had to bring an X-acto knife to it.
The rerelease tray reminded me of the way Takara did it for thei JinRoh soldier figure.
I am keeping the box mint and damage free in case I sell the figure later on, so I'm not gonna try anything, so it's up to you guys. Sorry if my previous comments lead to confusion.

Well I guess if the accessory tray on the rerelease isn't easier to remove, I'm left with no choice but to return mine to BBTS.
