I have a question for insiders, but on some product descriptions on ebay tell us that there are only 1000 of these Takara Batman made...

is this correct or is it a sleasy way to make us buy fast?

You got that right. I jumped on the chance to get this at $165. $300+ ebay prices were out of the question for me.
