i ordered a second tak batman.. but im having second thoughts now, cause i want a HT superman 2 in 1 as well.. but i can only pick up either one now.. what do you guys think would be more expensive to get in a few months.. a tak batman or a ht superman 2 in 1?

hehe actually, there were a few, including you ;)
but hey, it's all behind us right

indeed, lesson learned: do not be so damn honest and open about sharing every deal on this board.

Riko,

it happens to the best of us..sometimes we don't think clearly and share our thoughts in the process. The aftermath usually gets us to think..

1.why did I even bother to say anything !!
2. I could have just figured out by myself!!

I know I have been there and done that!! Just write off as one bad judgement and tomorrow all is forgiven!!

On another note ..I have to tell you that my son loves that you have batman kicking the snots out of Superman!! He is a big fan of both of them!!! How did you end up putting that together??? I enjoying checking that out from time to time!!

Regards,

I haven't had much time with it yet, being at work and accompanying the wife to the ultrasound (found out its a boy). So far, it is everything that everyone has said it is. Well, actually, its more, now that I have one in my grubby little hands.:D

Congrats on the boy man!

I just got mine from BBTS. (Great service. Packed really well and shipped promptly).

This is the most I've spent on one 1/6 scale figure that wasn't a vintage G.I.Joe and I'm pretty pleased so far.

He looks pretty amazing from almost any angle and despite the minor limitations of the rubber suit, he's very posable.

I was surprised that the rubber suit isn't one piece.

The top is "unitard" kind of pattern. Sleeves end just past the elbow (the plastic gauntlet covers the end of the sleeve). This top piece is on over rubber pants and the boots are another seperate piece.

Based on the ugly sculpt of the ankle area I assumed the boot was two pieces: a shoe piece over the shin/ankle piece.
It's not.
It's all one piece. It's just sculpted in weird way.

I assume they did this to allow for some added ankle articulation, but I think he would have been able to attain close to the same degree of articulation w/regular looking boots.

I wonder if anyone has tried mixing a matching pieces from the Begins figures from HT or Medicom.
I bet the HotToys boots would look great on the Tak Batman (if they fit).

Aside from the boot appearance, I think the TAk Bats is pretty awesome.
I hope his suit holds up over time.
(I have a few vintage G.I.Joe frogmen stuck in melted/cracked wetsuits)

the takara boots are the most movie accurate of the 3 versions...
