I just got mine from BBTS. (Great service. Packed really well and shipped promptly).
This is the most I've spent on one 1/6 scale figure that wasn't a vintage G.I.Joe and I'm pretty pleased so far.
He looks pretty amazing from almost any angle and despite the minor limitations of the rubber suit, he's very posable.
I was surprised that the rubber suit isn't one piece.
The top is "unitard" kind of pattern. Sleeves end just past the elbow (the plastic gauntlet covers the end of the sleeve). This top piece is on over rubber pants and the boots are another seperate piece.
Based on the ugly sculpt of the ankle area I assumed the boot was two pieces: a shoe piece over the shin/ankle piece.
It's not.
It's all one piece. It's just sculpted in weird way.
I assume they did this to allow for some added ankle articulation, but I think he would have been able to attain close to the same degree of articulation w/regular looking boots.
I wonder if anyone has tried mixing a matching pieces from the Begins figures from HT or Medicom.
I bet the HotToys boots would look great on the Tak Batman (if they fit).
Aside from the boot appearance, I think the TAk Bats is pretty awesome.
I hope his suit holds up over time.
(I have a few vintage G.I.Joe frogmen stuck in melted/cracked wetsuits)
