Definitely, and as the father of two little girls I really rooted for him (and my daughters are never going to Paris).:lol Seriously.:horror

That's why the film is PG-13, so parents make their teenage daughters watch it. No matter how paranoid the parent seems - THEY'RE RIGHT.

I know what you mean.
I don't like people and it's kind of hard to get around that going to a theatre.

Do what we do. Take a day off and go during the week in the afternoon or the first show one Sat or Sunday and there will be hardly anyone in the theatres.

this movie rocked!!! i just wish there was a way to get a sequel out of it. Liam's character was awesome, his acting was awesome, and it was just what i needed for the weekend.
my favorite part was when he was when he found the guy on the phone and was like "you don't remember me? i told you i would find you" just freaking badass!!! i could almost smell the guy crap himself.

Your box office report, sirs and madams:

1. Taken - $24.6 million. Now you know: never take anything from Liam Neeson.

2. Paul Blart: Mall Cop - $14 million. I'm starting to think Kevin James might have a shot at stealing the Blockbuster Comedy Go-To Fat Guy crown. Jack Black, watch your back.

3. The Uninvited - $10.5 million, barely beating a three-week-old movie about a hotel that is for dogs.

4. Hotel for Dogs - A mere $8.7 million, keeping its total gross a distant second to the other recent movie about an orphaned genius inventor named Bruce.

5. Gran Torino - $8.6 million. The eighth week of an old racist man drama easily beat a new Renee Zellweger romantic comedy (8th). That just blew up the Hollywood system.

I predict this will change drastically next week. I can't believe Paul Blart is still in the top 2...

Nmber three made me laugh out loud! Not sure why...but :rotfl

For all the critics criticism I can't wait to see Taken! Sometimes when your watching a movie like Slumdog Millionaire, you just want someone to stand up and start beating the hell out of someone else! Or is that just me?

Finally saw it. Man a great film, too bad these loud-mouths in the theater wouldn't stop talking. "That's the guy from Schindler's list, you know the movie about the Jews?" Gawd we know...SHUTUP! Anyway, I do wish there was one main mastermind bad guy, but I guess the closest was the tuxedo dude, and his daughter was kind of annoying throughout...great action flick though.

yeah, i didnt really care too much for the daughter either, but thats a real life scenario that i would never wish upon another woman........so it was a great revenge flick for me the way he killed all them pervs

I agree, my main problem was she was obviously in her mid-twenties and trying to be a jumping, ditsy teenager...which was annoying and totally unbelievable. How many talented, younger actresses are out there? Of course it's more of a revenge film, so all of this is realy not that important. Anyone else also get a "Commando" vibe from the film?

yep I did. I think Liams a bit skinnier than arnie though. :lol:lol
I don't think he could of pulled of the log chopping scene. :lol

Finally saw this last night and it was worth the wait, Liam Neeson kicked all kinds of ass!! True that the story didn't have too much depth, but it was to the point and no nonsense. I definitely enjoyed it from beginning to end! :rock

I was saying the same thing as I was walking out of the theater, loved his character and really want to see him in action some more.

^^^^ Jason Bourne!! :D

Taken is nearing the 100M mark and still going strong...Hopefully this gets Liam more lead roles in action films.
