R2D2 can't come soon enough.

Snooping Homer :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Congrats, pixle. Really glad you that you took the risk and were rewarded with a great 3PO. He's easily my favourite 1:6, no question.

Yea, Pix!

Great to hear you got a good one... AND that you like it so much. Confirms what everyone has been saying.

I really need to splurge and just get one already.

LFL = Rights holder.
Sideshow = Licensee.

But it's interesting there's no additional production credit like there is for example with Hot Toys.

This is what really perplexes me. It's almost as if this is the only 1:6 C3PO that SSC intends to produce, but they want to be cagey about it and not broadcast it. Why is this?

No. What I'm saying is that their promotional activities may be part of whatever deal they entered into. Whether the activities are over/under any particular benchmark is kind of subjective. As another example, they've promoted the new Vader during development and reveal, but at the moment I can't say it's any more prominent than most other figures. Is that the correct amount of promotion, under promotion or over promotion? ;) Maybe they'll kick up promotion into high gear when they start blowing out excess inventory of 3PO at $200. Fingers crossed.

I think the medicom one is the lower end c3po and this is the exclusive, if you will. I'm thinking SS thought this was too much of a gamble to make a profit on and let these guys take the risk while still getting some money for the sub-license. I don't see SS doing a C3PO for a long long time, if ever.

Whatever it takes to get us R2. :lol
