Is anyone posing her with bent knees or elbows?
I love all the promotional shots that I've seen but I'm not sure if I'm going to take the risk of the body tearing. So I'll probably end up posing her in a semi-boring museum pose.

I've been thinking of picking up the pale generation 7 muscular body to have as a replacement, in case of damage. You'll be spending a bit extra now, but saving some potential headache later.

If you get one, get the tan version as it is similar with Vampi. The pale is completely different. I know since I have the three in hand.

So, they didn't go with a pale skintone? It looked pale in the videos from Deanknight. I already have the suntan ordered to replace an older body. Do most of the kimi sculpts match the suntan color as well?

I'm sorry, I just have an iPad 2 and the pictures are really low res, so not worth it!
They NEVER go with a pale skintone. They always produce figure with the tan version.
That said, I'm a fairly pale guy, and their tan version this time is paler than me. The difference between pale and tan for TBL seems to be the amount of grey they include in the skintone. Pale being more pink.
As for the Kimi hs, I couldn't tell you. I own only one, was very displeased with it (one of their first, undersized) and have never bought another one. The one I own was more compatible with the pale skintone, but not a perfect match.
Oddly, Kimi sculpts are a better match to one of the newer Jiaou Doll bodies (I can't remember which), but I've used some of the Suntan bodies for them (not the newest batches that are oddly pale for Suntan). It's been discussed quite a bit over at OSW.

How off are the new suntan bodies compared to the Kimi kt007 and the kt004? The two blondes.

I found out that the JD body that matches most Kimi sculpts is the "Brown".
I haven't gotten the KT007, but the KT004 matches the Jiaou Doll "Brown" body the best, as mentioned. It's not even remotely close to the "new" Suntans, like the mid bust bodies that came out a few months ago.

Well, I checked your refs and lol!
Looks like I have more Kimi heads than I thought! If so, and if mine are really Kimi heads (got one off eBay but can't remember when and where, and the other from OSK-007who advertised them for pale bodies). Turns out the KT004-007 are perfect match for S19 and S23 (though 004looks a bit undersized on the S23)
Unfortunately all my figures are in storage (as of yesterday); trying to declutter the house to put it on the market. If I remember correctly, it was a close, but no cigar. I'm pretty a.n.a.l. when it comes to color matching, so I've gotten as many bodies as possible from Phicen/TBL and Jiaou Doll to match all the loose HS I have.
GREAT figure.....my first Phicen and I can say the skin and body frame feel VERY odd, but sturdy.
Hair is a bit of a mystery, but I am sure there are threads a plenty dealing with how to manage rooted hair.
Great Pin Up look, definetly and Asisn face , but I like it.....pretty much spot on to the Production and Promo pics.....for the price its fantastic.
The base is a bit of a mystery also. She has holes on her boots for some pegs but the base has nothing to mount her too. There is no way she will stand on it without some support. For pictures (sorry Phone shot only right now), She was placed on a generic base. I will have to figure out how to use the base, because as of now its just background, unless you plan to sit her on it.
Overall a definite 9/10!!!!

Yeah, I am honestly not much for extravagant bases. In fact, for spacial concerns, I immediately swap out to a generic "old school" Hot Toys style black base. So, this giant thing will most likely be going in a closet or something.
Glad to see some people getting her! Can't wait! So much stuff hitting the shores this quarter. xD
