Too big, too much money and not very pleasing to the eye as far as design anyway. It's practical in the movie, but not very sleek or easy on the eyes.

Easy pass, if I collected 1/6 anyway. Will be curious to see who actually gets this thing!

With this though, the best option is to HANG it from the ceiling. Put in the corner of your collection. I know someone will do it! And then it will look bad *** hanging there.

Funny....

I'm a 1/6 collector, and a batfan...it's very difficult to let it pass away...

I'll buy it, sure. :yess:

Mark from one sixth republic on facebook is at ani-con and asked Howard from HT a number of questions. One if them was about the Bat and there's apparently indecision about whether or not they'll actually release it

Sad day indeed when Hot Toys start pulling crap like this.Do your costings and workings out behind the scenes and if it is nt to be do nt let us know, but do nt go dangling a big ol juicy carrot like this and then say"We might not make it".

I ve got nowhere to display it but Id be happy just to know I own it.Loved it from the very first shaky phonecam footage, loved the vision and the thinking behind the project.Get it out there.

:exactly:

Why do the backstage passes showing this as their biggest 1/6th project ever.
or the ones showing it with all the other vehicles if you aren't going to offer it for sale.

Then they go ahead and show it in the pictures with the DX12 and at anicon! T just adds insult to injury!

They have to release in a high enough quantity to keep the cost low and get economies of scale other wise its will turn in to an over priced custom then a mass produced toy

Maybe they want to see peoples reactions and get an idea on who will buy it. And who or what is RAS? Are you guys talking about Ra's as in Ra's Al Ghul?

I doubt this will get to mass production stage. Too big, potentially too expensive to manufacture and buy... Too many negatives in the way for this to be a viable product especially when you consider how many folk have struggled to display the original Tumbler. The Bat is easily over twice as big as the Tumbler.

I have the space to display it but not the cash. Figures are a priority for me. I've just started so this is in no way in my sure to buy list. Though by the time this thing is released i'll be 18 with my own job so I will be able to afford it.

True......but I'm crazy and would buy it even if i had to push it around in a shopping cart while living on the street! Lol
A lot of us would probably take the "buy now, think later" approach. That is exactly what i did with the Tumbler and i still have nowhere to display it! Lol
There is no cabinet big enough unless you pay big bucks. Even a perspex display for the Tumbler would cost over £100 just for the materials!

Really hoping this is wrong. There have been cases before like this though, where people didn't think it'd get to mass production, then did, so it's always a gamble. I bought a United Cutler Museum Collection Glamdring Years back and people never thought it'd see the light of day. it did, hopefully the Bat does too. But for every one that does make it, I'm sure there are just as many that don't for various reasons. If it does make it, I know I'm in for sure :)

I'll be gutted if this gets pulled. :panic:

Same here! I've been anticipating this since the first shots came out while they were making the movie. Then they showed the backstage pass which made me think it was coming.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Don't panic guys. It's not that complicated a design.
If they don't make it you can always make your own.
I'm going to make one shortly anyway.
I'm just drawing up the plans right now so I can use them to make more than one.

Why would it get pulled?

This all started as a rumor. Don't know the source, and then subsequently it was brought up by someone who spoke to Howard at Anicon. They posted on FB that Howard said there were serious talks about how to proceed with "The Bat" as the cost and size might make it too much to go into production.
