Lol.
I'll see what i can do.
The printing company locally i approached has not got back to me.
What needed him to do was scan the blueprints and print them out for me in 1/6(The blue prints will be over 9ft across in that scale, lol). It would save a lot of time if i didn't have to transcribe measurements from one scale to another.
I appreciate he will be busy, but i really want to get mine started.
Based on "interest" here, i want to build four at the same time just to cope with the demand. Well, it's fairer to say i will build one, but make templates for another three at the same time so the rest can be assembled fast if those who said they wanted one actually come through with the cash afterwards.
And it has to be said that a one off scratchbuild will have a significant cost.
I mention that just so that anyone out there who thinks a 5ft long scratchbuild that will likely take me at least three weeks to complete will sell for less than $800...(Believe it or not, i have had PMs offering to take my first one for $300 or less). And that would likely be a bare bones build with no lights or motorised rotors/jet engines.
:thud:

I'll send you a PM :hi5:

Howard is just bluffing.

If SS can sell and ship 1/1 endos, bobas etc, theres no reason why HT cant. I think hes just copying Bill and trying to be **** with us :lol

Shipment isnt the problem. As I understand the main concern is the price and replacement parts.

1/12th? That's...weird. This thing is for a movie masterpiece, not a movie master. I don't know, though. I'm split. Part of me is still holding out hope that it will be released, as I would like to have that TDKR display that I've talked about, but the other part is somewhat relieved, as that frees up a lot of space and a lot of money.

what a bummer! it is weird that they'd build a prototype to show off then not make one for production. but then again, maybe after doing the prototype they realized it might not be practical for them. who knows. again, nothing is absolute until its officially announced i assume.

Knowing HT they will never make an official announcement, the 1/12 may just show up one fine day.

Or maybe nothing shows up at all, and the 1/6 Bat still keeps appearing at the various toy shows

If they do make it in 1/12 then they will have to make a 1/12 batman and Catwoman to go in it

...replacement parts arent that much different than the tumbler, if theres any.

The tumbler is pretty much a solid box with the spoilers being the only delicate parts.

With the BAT, almost everything can go wrong, from electronics, to gears,
to delicate connection points and flimsy parts etc etc. :thud: :monkey4
