That'll be the "how it should have ended." When he gets sucked into the turbine, a piece of his shell goes flying and gets embedded in Donnie's skull, and Mikey and Leo are just covered in blood, and Mikey's screaming hysterically, and Leo just looks dead inside as he holds Donnie's limp body, and it goes on like that as the wing is just torn right off because the engine blew up, and then it just goes crashing into the side of the mountain. We later see April covering the crash as dudes in Hazmat suits quarantine the area surrounding the corpses of the strange mutant creatures.
