Funny as usual :lol

Those guys are somewhat amusing, but that main guy keeps dancing around / overlooking some fundamental sore points about these two movies - e.g; the four junkyard ogres still don't look right, the mix of serious / fun / action / etc is completely wonky, 'April' still isn't a redhead, the fact that the original Jim Henson production still puts anything after it to shame (with exception to possibly the Nic series) etc etc.

His main argument of 'let your nostalgia go', is imbecilic. There's emalgamating eveything so far in a measured way that at least tries to appeal to fans young & old alike, & there's the Bay way. He did it with Transformers, & now he's doing it with this. Half of what that guy was rambling about was in effect, giving fans of these characters a big raspberry, as though bastardizing is now a legitimate film making tool.

I think the older guy with the hat was more on point fwiw. :lol

Egg freaking xactly!

I haven't seen the 1990 film in so long. I'm not sure if I would now be capable of seeing it in the positive light you guys do. Having said that, I haven't seen Bay's film at all....I don't even know why I'm in here....

Minus nostalgia goggles tge 90s movies are just-ok at best. But the Henson turtles are wonderful and much more charming than these CGI renditions.

Just saw the 90's turtles last night...it's utter **** to me. I'd take the Bay Turtles personally.

Casey Jones in the new film was AWFUL...the Casey in the 1990 film was great and costume accurate

the real casey

The original 1990 film is the only one I'm ever referencing just in case that's been unclear so far.

Anything after that IS utter ****, to paraphrase what Dr bleedy hanky posted. :lol

I agree with the critic in the video.. People who ***** and moan about Turtles and Transformers need to remember that these are movies based on Toys and Cartoons... Sure you could make the argument that the turtles were originally a comic... but their popularity boomed with Children shows and toys...

The fact they are not all Masters of the Universe: The Movie should have fans rejoicing.

I think I must be just a tad to old to get any of this... I remember the 90's movie in the theater and liked it and I remember the comics but thought everything after that, the cartoons series, sequels and remakes have all been pretty crappy. Now the original comics are still fun but the original movie is bad. The Transformers toys were cool but I never owned a single one and I thought the Cartoon series was awful. So like I have said. These franchises have gotten more then they really deserve being that they are based on children cartoons and toys.
