This is a great sculpt of Arnold.
I wonder if any of the Top Artists on the Forum will give it a Re-paint?
Also, It's a shame Sideshow did not do two heads like the Indy EX.

Well with T-800, once he's battle damaged in the face, his clothing's really really beat up from all the machine gun fire, so it's tough because you either have this really clean portrait on a very BD body at one point, or you just have a BD piece. Even the final level of damage, if they ever do that as a PF, would basically be it, you couldn't do a post Cyberdyne damage head and really have it work on a steel mill damaged body with the knee showing and left arm missing. To properly capture T2 Arnie, you'd need 3 separate PFs.

Good point.
I did not think of that.
:slap
Maybe they will do a Battle Damaged version in the future

I really hope they do. His battle damaged look after T-1000 beats the ^^^^ out of him is my favorite T2 look for Arnie.

I dont understand why I never see any Terminator 1 products....??? I would buy a Terminator 1 PF right away if Sideshow made one..is this a licence thing ?

Yea, I think ownership of the movie has been up in arms like Bladerunner is.

i keep coming to this thread hoping for pics...

I wouldn't until late April, only one person has it so far. The real intent of the official pics thread was to move away from the bull^^^^ in the original thread, which didn't happen so another waste of a thread added to the A&R section.

Sad but true, well at least I behaved this time. :D You know never once did I have an issue with the likeness or paint, I find it odd that there are more and more complaints about the likeness now  I mean in my case the only thing that held me back was his build, if that can be fixed then its all good.

Well, the in hand shots don't convey the likeness strongly, I mean it doesn't look off, but not as strong as the Sideshow product page photos, and I know Trev's work so I know it'll be something really special in hand. I look forward to showing off his talents when I get my PF.

Hey question for you, do you think the t-shirt will be glued to the body or easy to lift up to add padding? This is very important for me to know. I would prefer to bulk up underneath the shirt rather than having the padding semi-exposed under the jacket.

Very important to know!

Not a clue, this is only my second PF. On Darth Maul they glued down his inner shirt at the neck, but I don't know if this is common on PF's or not. It's possible it's glued since the head is permanently attached, but until more folks get it or Darth Con can let us know, it's up in the air.

I don't know how soon we will see another T-800 PF... so... I am happy to have this one. Is it perfect ... no, but few are in EVERYONE's eye... as long as the person who has it loves it... what does it matter what other feel.

I am happy to add this one to my collection... While I only have a handful of pieces, I have learned to appreciate the pieces for what they are... good and bad... but if overall in my eyes, the piece is terrible, it would not sit in my personal collection.

I have a few that some may not like. such as the Aragorn or Anakin... but I like them and enjoy seeing them in my collection, so I am happy with them, faults and all.

As such, I look forward to this piece greatly.

Bring on the pics !

I was totally thinking of this the other night, also why not a half missing arm and a full arm. Battle damaged head can also have a light up feature...

Maybe I'm just retarded... scratch the whole idea... :wacky

Never mind, as I'm catching up to this thread, seems like other PF's might be the better choice on different versions of Arnold...

Would be hard to show full damage all around the sculpt.

Awesome then, so what would you use to add bulk to both the chest and shoulders? I would picturing something of a rubber/plastic oval shape to slide under the shirt for the chest and then maybe something as easy as cotton balls for the should and neck area.

Any ideas?

I'm going to use tissues and or cotton and foam, basically things you can shape is the way to go.

I suspect us sceptics might be singing a different tune when the skilled folk on here start modifying the body...Cant wait

And thats what changed my mind entirely and not given up on this piece. I mean my only issue was his upper build so this should be fun futzing with.

Exactly, the legs are pretty much perfect for T2 Arnie, it's just between the waist and the neck that just isn't quite right.
