I feel like your making excuses to make up for the shortcomings of this statue. I dont think there is anything wrong with what you and most of us out there there were initially expecting. With a few slight modifications before production this could have easily been one of thee best PF's out there. I think most of us are disappointed that its not. I'm still personally on the fence on this guy, but I feel that Sideshow was capable of so much more, even in 1/4 scale. We have set our expectations to the standard that sideshow has lately been delivering too, this guy just falls a touch short. I think however, most Terminator fans (such as yourself) are able to look past its shortcomings as it still is a great statue and is better than no PF at all. Plus you have the 1/4 endoskeleton...its not like you have much of a choice

You know I was just thinking, considering some figures cost upto $300 these days what should make us think that for $300 we should be getting something that is 110% perfect in 1/4 scale?

Maybe some of us (myself included) expect too much from PF's these days. Maybe all they ever were, were glorified 1/4 figures.

Just a thought.

Not true Its funny you mention that cuz the Endo is one of the main reasons I was going to cancel. Right now I really have no room for it, Jason's a HUGE mofo and hoggs up way too much space!

I agree with you. It could have been better if sideshow had taken note of our earlier opinions. However as a die hard fan of the movies this is still alot better than any other Terminator 2 statue of Arnold so for me the choice is easy.

You kidding? These new pics make it look MUCH better. I don't know what people remember Arnold looking like in T2, but I'm looking at him right now and that's him.

Nope, not kidding unfortunately. You can see Arnold's features enough to recognize that Trevor did another amazing job but the overall vibe I get from the piece is "Randy Travis as the Terminator." I think its a bummer but if you think that's a fantastic rendition of Arnold as the T800 then more power to you and enjoy the PF! All that matters for you is whether you like or not.

I still haven't canceled the exclusive but I think I will soon. I'm kind of regretting choosing Leonidas over this. I agree with most of the faults people have mentioned but overall, it's a pretty good representation of an Arnold Terminator (from T2) and to me, the likeness is really good. IMHO the white belt is the biggest goof, it just looks silly. All that being said, I'm still going to cancel because I agree with those that think the regular will be available on eBay for less in the not too distant future and I'll pick one up at that time.
