Umm... anyone seen my sig? Look, in the bottom left, it says "The Dude Person", and in the top right, it says "Custom Resistance Fighter", and the picture shows a guy with a red armband with terminators in the background in the desert... I mean, really... first people say that only Arnold-T-800-Terminator-ish customs are good, and the rest is a load of worthless ^^^^ because Hot Toys makes everything else good that is terminator related, and a while back I ask anyone interested in my RF to speak up and no one does, and now people want to start making resistance fighters...
I did post several times mentioning my RF, but I figured no one cared about it cuz no one paid me any attention about it... It's like I don't even exist! What's up with that? Seems that I had the idea for a custom RF before anyone thought it was good or worth paying attention to...
Do you guys wanna see more pics than just my sig? Or did you all decide to add me to your ignore list and aren't even seeing my posts?
it is possible that people could jut have missed your posts.
Well, just to be honest, I can't read that little red letters in upper right corner, I have to come really close to the screen to see it, and your sig is so dark that I barely recognize the face, let alone the rest of the picture (I would have never guessed that it's an Endoskeleton in the back)..
Only pointing out..
Chill a bit, you're taking this way too serious..
Here's an update on my T1 Technoir Arnie.
See, my problem is that I am pretty sure I have pushed myself as far as I can with my current level of skill and experience. Every time I modify the sculpt, I run the risk of messing it up worse, and right now I think it's pretty good for Arnie Sculpt version 1.0... If I tried to improve it, I could end up making it worse, and it could take weeks or even months for it to return to half its former glory... So at this point I may need to start over from scratch again to get anything better than what it is right now. I don't know if you saw those first pictures of the sculpt way back before everyone made so much fun of them that I deleted them, but if you did you know how far it has come. I almost decided to mold it and cast it then, and that would have been terrible... at least now I have something decent. This clay that I use can be molded, then removed from the mold with relatively little damage to the sculpt and then re-used, so I may mold it to ensure I can keep the progress I have made, but then I could continue to try and improve the original clay sculpt without losing what I have made already. That way, if the sculpt ends up looking like a drunken zebra had a baby with Jackie Chan after I try to improve it, it won't matter because I'll still be able to make casts of it back when it was decent. And if after molding I can improve it without it having to be completely resculpted, then I can mold it again and throw in cut up bits of the first mold to use as filler in the second mold (done that before actually, works pretty well). So all in all, molding is not necessarily the final step for the sculpt, but it can be if I decide I want it to be later. So it's not so much settling as it is insuring I won't lose what I have already. Thanks for the advice anyway though!
Few smilies here and there would help, that's for sure..Oh... well I guess my sig is a little small... gotta fix that... sometime I'll have to actually post the original, non-shrunk down picture and maybe brighten it a little... or just take some different pics...
BTW I was mostly joking about freaking out so much... guess I forgot a few smilies that would have helped...
Anyway, just surprised no one noticed any of my RF-related posts/sigs when it seemed plain as day to me.. Oh well! Sorry everybody...
P.S. when you said that my sig is so dark you barely recognize the face, did you mean recognized as in "could see the details of and identify it as a human face, rather than a non-descript flesh colored blob", or recognized as in "was able to tell which person the face was supposed to resemble in the picture"? Because as far as I know, he doesn't look like anyone anyone could recognize from somewhere else, so I assume you meant the first one...
Ok everybody, here's a lightened up version of the original pic I used for my sig... problem is that now it's so light, he really wouldn't need a lighter to help him see... but you guys get the idea... I haven't been able to take more pics of him yet, will do that soon... The next pics will be a lot less heavily photoshopped, cuz now I have a Hot Toys T-700! Yay! Anyway, he's mostly just a bunch of stuff I had lying around that I threw together and slapped a custom armband on... can't see much from this pic, but it was meant to be a teaser.... Enjoy
Oh yeah and I moved the downed T-600 endo (the one in the bottom right that's illuminated by fire in my sig) up closer so you guys could see it better...
..pure quality work done, right there.
More pics........ I can't see his legs, for all I know he is in a wheel chair
