Yeah, the look, not the movie :lol I saw a custom using Neca parts, like the head, arms, and torso (maybe) and it looked pretty good. Arnold looked like a live action...action figure in that movie.

That's a very good little custom!

I feel it's a pity for those T1 fans who completely discount T2 and also a shame on those T2 fans who think T1 is dated crap (such a group exists).

It's nice to have 2 films in the series that you can always watch no matter what drivel comes later.

I see them as different types of movies. T1 is a classic sci-fi action thriller and T2 is a summer blockbuster action flick. Both great in my book.

I'd love to see a HT Slater, both leather jacket and Hamlet version. Freeze would be damny funny and possibly ironically appealing.

Both are so bought.

Want Mr Freeze in his prison stripes.

Hot Toys Ahnuld two packs

- Conan/War stripes Conan

- Jack Slater (reg)/Jack Slater Hamlet (black and white version)

- Mr. Freeze (armored LED lights)/Arkham stripes and hideout bathrobe

News is reporting that Arnold's son Patrick had a threesome with Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton this weekend. :lol

Re: Terminator: Genisys (July 1st, 2015)

Found a webpage I referred to previously about the crapness of T3 - Downfall Of Terminator: All That is Wrong with Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

It's a long read, and some of it is a bit hard to get through but overall, it hits all nails upon head.

I just read the whole thing, a-dev. I haven't seen T3 since it originally came out on DVD & at the time I was so appalled by each & every second of the film that, in my mind, I gave it the score that I only reserve for films that I find offensively bad, 0/10. Your critique, however, was one of the best, & certainly the most in-depth, that I've ever had the pleasure to read, 10/10. :clap

You must've been even more pissed off than me with T3 because you detailed every single scene in the entire film commenting on severe problems with the story, the dialogue, the characterisations, the action scenes, the wardrobe, the plot-holes, the science & last, but by no means least, the 'humour'. Your scathing review of that turgid, overblown complete & utter festering tripe was a true tour de force. If I was wearing a hat, I would certainly tip it to you my good man. :rock2

I do have one question, though. Do you still feel the same way or have you mellowed your reaction to the film, somewhat, as the years have gone by?

Edit: Actually a-dev, please don't bother responding to my obsolete question above. I just now noticed that the date you posted your critique was Saturday, April 6, 2013. So obviously you still feel this way, lol. I assumed that this was written around 10yrs ago. My bad.

Sorry Morgul, I wish I could take credit but I didn't write that :lol It wasn't even me who found it originally. I was directed to it by P. if memory serves. But it's in my favorites list now before I lose it again.

But yes I find T3 to be a completely abominable film and as such agree with everything in this analysis. In fact it drew my attention to even more reasons to hate that movie than I had previously thought of myself.

:doh :lol

My bad, yet again.

It really was a terrific read though. So thanks for posting the link, pal.

With his looks and his name, he could be slaying newbies as they get off the bus from BF County, Iowa left and right. What a waste of time.

Eddie Furlong had Paris. And he looks like Eddie Furlong. And that was 15 years ago. He's got about as much game as his old man - none. :slap

The important thing for me is if they still seem like the same world. I feel that they do. Larger scale in the second film but not stupidly so. The characters are consistent (or a believable progression of), the kind of dialogue is consistent, same music composer and various things that keep those two films tied together.
