Worse marketing in cinema history.

Oh wait, never mind. That movie didn't have any marketing at all, did it?

I remember the trailers for Cast Away showing him getting off the island and returning home. :slap

And I thought it was pretty dumb for the Prometheus trailers to show the...um....PROMETHEUS crashing into the Derelict and exploding. :slap :slap

Well I don't think it's shocking that a Zemeckis movie starring Tom Hanks is not going to end with his skeleton bleaching in the sun, but still. . .

If only I remembered anything about Prometheus, including what the Prometheus was, exactly, I'm sure I would nod my head in agreement to your comment, Khev.

You know how "the CGI always sucks" talk usually comes up?

I'm assuming people have seen this?

Is it possible for a Terminator movie to be as good as T1/T2 while also simultaneously messing up the story-timeline set up by T1/T2?

Would fans embrace something like?

I think they would but since it'll probably never happen we'll never know. :) I honestly don't think even Cameron would make a Terminator film as good as T1/T2 today.

Alan Taylor should have cast Chris Evans as the new Reese. True story. Actually now that I think of it Sebastian Stan would have been good too.

Forget the timeline stuff from T1/T2, is TG a good standalone movie? (i'll know in 4 hours).

Jye -- whatever happens, whatever this movie does to you -- do not become a synth! Do not succumb to your nostalgia and cry because Arnold steps out with some glorious music and a stern expression. Do not cave because a girl named Sarah Connor says: Run Soldier! Do not turn to jello because you at long last get to see the War against the Machines.

Stay frosty.

I'm not going into this expecting much, as long as its as good as Raiders, Star Wars, Empire, Jaws, Conan, Die Hard, Road Warrior, Predator, True Lies, Alien and Aliens i'll leave the theater happy.
