Have you seen Eddie lately?
He's a cracked out nutcase.
nobody wants to work with him because he's lost it.
and honestly, i'd much rather have someone like bale, who has a lot of talent. I loved Eddie in T2.. but an adult jc needs to be a bit rougher around the edges, which bale can do. I thought he did just fine.
Any lack of blowing my socks off was pretty much something i fault mcG and the writers for.

I thought Bale was fine and that the writing and lack of Connor in the movie is why he doesn't shine. Worthington as Wright shines because most of the movie focuses on him. If T:S were a more Connor-centric story, I'm sure Bale would have done more with it.

I had a tough time not thinking "Batman" when he did the hard-to-understand voice.Also just watched the last four episodes of Lost--he reminded me too much of Jack.

Bale was fine. The film was focused on Marcus Wright more than anything else. I don't expect oscar material from an actor when he is really a glorified supporting character. Now if the next one is about Connor solely and he can't hold it fine, but this one he served his purpose.

Yes. And a director with vision wouldn't hurt, either. This series hasn't had one of those since Cameron left.
