Just for fun, I did an image search on Google for "terminator dog."

Crap in heaven!

Somewhat embarrassing, but, when I did fall asleep at home, after the midnight show, I had a Terminator dream. I remember being in a clean room with lots of parts, fuel cells, etc... Then a black dog came into the room. I am a "dog person", so this was cool, but then both eyes lit up red, Terminator style. All I remember was running out, down a hospital like corridor, not much else. My dog Zack had woken me up to TCOB outside.

:lol:lolThat is one odd dream.

Coming from a huge T-1 and T-2 fan, i have to say i did not like this movie much. It was just ok, decent action throughout, better than T-3, but no where near the level of Cameron's masterpieces. My ratings:
T-1 : 10
T-2 : 9.5
T-3 : 2.0
T-4 : 5.5

As a side not my girlfriend, who hates sci-fi, i got her to watch 1 and 2 and she liked them alot, but she hated salvation.

Just got back from the theater and although I'm not "hardcore" like some of you guys I though this movie ROCKED!! I don't have degree in Terminator history but I really liked the story and everything made sense to me. I do know enough to catch small nods to the previous films though so that was cool. I've seen every major movie this summer and I can honestly say that I enjoyed this movie more than the mediocre Wolverine and Star Trek which I thought was just an ok movie with cool action sequences. I know my .2 aren't going to mean squat to ya'll cause I actually liked it so I'll just move along....move along.

I thought it was good. It really did end up being Sam's movie though. He was just much more interesting. There was very little character development for anyone besides Marcus. Even with its nearly 2 hour run time, they could have fleshed out the other characters a little more. Then again, we don't really watch these movies for things like character development. Overall, I'd watch it again.

Hold the presses guys!!!

Roger Ebert just gave Salvation 2 stars, complains that it doesnt make sense, and admits he only ever saw T2. :horror

This so-called "movie critic" HAS NEVER SEEN TERMINATOR.

:nono

lol classic. In a way I'm glad goobers like Ebert don't like this type of movie. It makes it feel like it's *ours

*Fans.

liked the movie BUT, my 2 issues were:
1)not enough connor, too much marcus, almost a waste of bale
2)i kinda liked the old stop motion movement of the terminators, now they are all cgi, move too fast(my main issue with almost ALL cgi) and thats makes it totally unrealistic to me , especially for robots...

Random thing that's bugging me, does anyone know the name of that song that Connor was playing to attract that motor-terminator to reprogram and use to ride?

I saw this movie today and I honestly don't know why people hate this movie. I think it's actually one of the best movies of the summer - it has action, a story, and is totally different from the other Terminator movies, showing a darker look at the war. That's why it works for me, there's no going back in time. Are people forgetting that this is a Terminator movie?
