I can't wait for the DVD with all the missing footage and the making of.

has been confirmed that this is the endo that gets sent back for T1

Not this specific one, but the model/type yes.

AWSEOME spoilers

thanks...

Wait, you were expecting that there wouldn't be any spoilers by now? If you don't want to be spoiled, stay out of all Terminator related threads until you see the movie. It's common sense.

Yeah, I stayed out of all the threads until I went and saw it today.

It was easier in 1980 to hide. We had heard rumors about Darth and Luke but we couldn't actually confirm it until we saw it. Now you pretty much see the entire dang movie a month before its out.

Lol - too true. These youngins don't know how to be surprised anymore. For example, a major problem with Phantom Menace (among legions) was the orgy of photos, video and toys of Darth Maul released months before the film - just imagine the exhiliration to see that demonic bastard toss off his hood and bust out the dual light saber, without having that in freaking trailer! It's a small example, but I think that film studios have no flare for mystery anymore. Sure, there will be leaks now and then, but at least put some effort into it. I suppose it's a response to the current climate of immediate gratification - the "what do you have to show me that hasn't been done before" mentality has film studios and game devs spilling all their secrets in the trailers just to hook you. Wall of text aside, despite scathing reviews, T-Sal will be the first summer blockbuster I see when I get a day off.

The perfect Terminator follow up movie just can't be made since Stan Winston died. Think back to Terminator and T2, remember the future war scenes? Using that "future" John Connor, and all the original land/air HKs and Terminators would have rocked. I always wondered what Stan's version of the T-600 would have looked like and what else he would have created. The John Connor in T2, limited screen time, didn't say a word, just the way he moved and looked, hell, I wanted to follow him.

Stan Winston was the man, I never met him, but I miss him.
He created all my favorite characters.

Couldn't agree more.

Compiled vids of the Future war scenes.

T1 &T2
T3

TS is a whole movie dedicated to "the future war", and is still doesn't hold a candle to Winston and Cameron's "badassedness".

You're right, but hopefully if/when T5 comes... we'll get those types of sequences!
