I'm glad it's not all future war scenes what we seen in T2 etc, because what would we have to look forward to in the next few Terminator films? This is a trilogy in itself, there's plenty more to come

4th at the boxoffice -Terminator Salvation
Weekend gross - $16,140,000
Total gross to date - $90,657,000

Wonder if this will top Terminator 3's US gross??? Didn't that one make around 150 mil? I really hope this won't put a damper on any plans to produce future Terminator films.

You can expect it to drop off 50% each week. Prolly $120ish. Performing just like Watchmen.

I don't see any more Terminator sequels for a while.

That's too bad. I really enjoyed this film and I expected the numbers to be larger. Maybe the fan base has shrunk? Or no one cares.

well it hasn't hit all the markets around the world yet so that will add more $ to to kitty, plus some merchandising dollars. hopefully the entire picture will allow more movies to be made. that being said I haven't seen the movie yet so maybe I'll change my mind then. :)

If the movie can't make the equivalent of its budget it cost to make or even more then I don't see any sequels coming out either.

I'm not worried. There will be more, T5, T6... Once the DVDs and blu-rays come out, more money will be made.

Compiled vids of the Future war scenes.

T1 &T2
T3

TS is a whole movie dedicated to "the future war", and is still doesn't hold a candle to Winston and Cameron's "badassedness".

It's relatively early in the war...just wait until the next installment...hopefully. They were still using current weapons, this war is just getting started.

That's what i think. It's almost like it's a prequel, setting the stage for the future war.

Maybe the film isn't doing well because IT ISN'T EVEN OUT IN THE UK YET???!!!

They expect fans to wait 2 weeks longer....:mad::mad:

Seems as though the U.S. (and maybe Canada) are the only places that have released the movie so far. Australia, U.K and Europe have yet to see the release (June 4). So it's bound to make more money yet.

And it's beyond me why, with the internet being the tool it is these days, that they would even contemplate doing this with a movie of this scale.

I know an awful lot of people that have seen this already and i know for a fact they won't go an pay to see it at the cinema.

It reminds me of when The Phantom Menace came out in the U.K a month after the States... people had seen it that many times on pirate VHS they never went to see it.
