I guess you didn't watch the movie past the credits huh?

You may want to go back and watch the real ending of the movie. :D

If he hated the movie...why would he want to watch it again? Plus Xavier, Patrick Stewert, is gone. Now he'll be some random old fart.

Imagine if we were in the late 70s now.
All the amazing flicks we would have ahead of us !.

 I did grow up during those films ................... yes I am old. :monkey2

I remember those days ......... being 7 when Scarface came out on video, watching T1 on superchannel at the ripe age of 8. :(

Oh yeah... the good old days. Being 7 when Star Wars came out in the theater and not having the internet to ruin the surprises of ESB... and Indy and Terminator all ahead of me. :)

there's a reason critics are paid to review movies, because they at least are better informed(about cinema) than the casual moviegoers. and most fans who frequent movie forums bashed the film.

so yes, critics > the fans in THIS forum.

I disagree, critics (of anything) are just stating their OPINION, and no one can dictate what is "correct".

I HATE football, others LOVE it. Who's right?

The only real question is, did YOU see it? What are YOUR thoughts? Only fools let other people tell them what is or isnt good and what they should or shouldnt like. The people on this group have just as much right to say how much they like the movie as much as someone else has the right to say they hated it. But if you really want to start a whine/gripe session, then start a "Terminator Salvation = crap" thread (if thats whats your OPINION)... ;)

There's no hiding from spoilers! I remember before T2 came out, I was at a convenience store and there was the "official movie magazine", not wanting to ruin anything, but wanting to at least see some cool pics, I opened it and immediately flipped to a page with the T-1000 exploding and the caption stating "The T-1000 falls to its death in the steel mill." :horror:crying:horror:crying:horror

:pow

It was easier in 1980 to hide. We had heard rumors about Darth and Luke but we couldn't actually confirm it until we saw it. Now you pretty much see the entire dang movie a month before its out.

I REALLY enjoyed this movie!!!!! It gets an "A" in my book. Although, I really missed Arnold. Without him, I felt like something was missing. :monkey2

i just watched t:salvation and i really liked the movie, i liked the marcus character and feel it brought alot into the film as did connor, too bad we didnt learn much of marcus' past though.

I'm pretty sure if they make a sequel that we'll see Marcus again, he's the new cyborg character in town to carry on the vein of the necessary Terminator/machine character who is superficially an enemy b/c he's part machine but also is an ally to the Resistance. Hopefully, we'll get more proper flashbacks of both his and Connor's past and of course glimpses of the Judgment Day machine strikes against mankind. Also I'm pretty sure concerning the fact that Marcus was a murderer and because of the strained, but nostaligic reference to his dead brother that maybe just maybe his brother may have been the third person he killed along with those 2 cops, his brother may have been a third cop actually.

I definitely think that this was an excellent installment in the series. Marcus is a great take on introducing a new terminator design, much more interesting than the TX design. If you have any interest in Terminator films you should at least check it out on the big screen.

OK I went in with lowered expectations and I must admit, I really enjoyed it. I don't know why critics have been bashing it to hell, but it was a good movie, much better than T3. Also, this movie proved that Terminator can work without Arnold. Marcus honestly outshines Connor here, he was the only character who I felt was handled very well, even though somethings could have been improved upon *background story*, but overall nice. I admit, previous three movies have already explained so much of the future stuff that in order to keep it fresh, things would need to change and die-hard Terminator fans would not like that idea, at least some of them. This movie was good, let's hope next one is even better. Action was pretty good too. However, some story elements felt loose such as those related to the high-command and other groups of resistance: the connection wasn't there. Also, this is a minor nitpick but we all know T-800 makes an appearance, but I just don't get how Connor didn't emotionally respond when he looked up upon the "face" of the T800, even for a moment?

Overall a 7/10. This movie is pure enjoyment, but not on par with T2 obviously.

T2 set an almost impossible to meet standard. The only other movie that is on par with it is another sequel, Aliens. Now, if Cameron would get on board for T5, well my expectations would soar.

You know, I kinda liked the ideal of the high command. I mean, its post D-day and you would think that at least some of the armed forces survived the nuclear fallout and it makes sense that they would be the initial leaders of the resistance since Conner was presumably never in the military...so I thought it made sense. This way we get to see Conner take control of the resistance instead of him just being in that role at the onset of the movie.

Yes, I thought that as well very good point. I was always like how did that whiney kid lead the resistance to victory? Over the years he became what he ultimately needed to become to win.

I saw it today during lunch break at work, and I'd give it a solid B+, some things were kind of foggy like the whole why did they make Marcus in the first place, how did he wake up, etc...

It's a solid film and I enjoyed it, can't wait for the blu-ray.
