Very excited! My Endo was originally scheduled for delivery tomorrow, but because of the signature requirment from Sideshow I've had it sent to my work and I'd have had to wait until Monday. However, luck on my side, he's a day early and coming this afternoon The photo fun's coming. Damn, that NECA Endo looks great and at 18" tall it must make an impressive display piece. If this was made at sixthscale Id probably go for this one over the HT version.

This version is all metal right?

I like the finish on that NECA better than I do the HT Endo.

Yeah, its the finish of the metal that does it for me, the finish on the HT Endo looks a bit cheap.

the endo was chromed up to give it that finish. It actually looked pretty bad before - really plasticky. I wish the Hot Toys version looked liked that.

Great review Michael, I freakin love this figure, and as you all seem to be saying it's gonna take a lot of beating for fig of the year, sure it's fragile (though interestingly I haven't heard of any catastrophes.... YET!) I didn't have any issues with the paint, don't know if there's any difference between earlier and later releases or I might be a softer touch ?

Thanks Paul, ya I saw his shots, tho surprisingly, I didn't see any with a gun other than the hand gun.

I've got some lighting shots planned, but also some replicate movie feeling shots, what else from me right? I've got him, out of the box without much time to look him over, have to say, I'm impressed.

Questions for those with the regular from wave 1; Did your box say Terminator 2 Judgement Day? And also, was there a mix of dark and light metallic tones throughout the body?

Just curious if there are any wave 2 variations.

Kool and the Gang Sean. Make sure you take enough time to familiarize yourself with the joint articulation, especially the elbow and shoulder joints... I did, gingerly so, as this is a delicate piece.

Ya, from pics I've seen already I've known what was coming. I will definitely handle it with care, though I handle every Hot Toys figure with great care, they're so costly and pricey, I dare not risk damage and having to spend more or worse yet not even be able to get a replacement. I may even have some wallpapers done up too, my mind's always going.

Ya, as cool as Reiny's super chrome Endo custom looks, to me, the HT figure looks more used and believable as a machine in battle, or in the case of T1, has just been engulfed in fire.
