LOL we are lucky over here it came out at all. It might not come out there, I remember my friend in Australia telling me how a bunch of horror movies never make it there.

Sequel to the original.

Picking up where the 1974 original film ends, the citizens of Newt, Texas decide to burn down the farm house of the Sawyer family for their role in aiding Jeb Sawyer, also known as Leatherface, in countless murders. I just don't see why they would release a film that's a sequel to a film kids under the age of 20 don't have a clue about.

But even on that...do we need another Leatherface movie? He's cool and all...but eh. We need new slashers for this day and age.

Problem with new slashers is that they end up retarded. I mean there have been new movies, so there is no lack for that, but they just end up sucking because the movie is so bad.

It would be really hard for a new Slasher to get to a "Jason" level at this point. I can't think of any modern slasher that is that big now.

Okay good point, you are right in that one. He is pretty known. I couldn't think of any but that was a good choice.

TCM: Next Generation was just a rehearsal compared to Killer Joe.
