Zombies halloween 2 didnt come out in australia which after seeing the movie wasnt a bad thing
The new chainsaw looks ok but there hasn't been a lot of horror movies come out latley so I was looking forward to it. Stupid Australia not supporting horror movies

Well here's my review of it basically. As a huge TCM Fan meeting Gunnar and Marilyn discussing there small roles in the film and saying hope the fans enjoy it. After being anticipated with this release for the new year and a true sequel to the original. Some huge fans like me either enjoyed it or just plain hated it. It has mixed reviews and even fango hated on it but that isn't the point. My opinion. Well this film has stumped me actually. I thought it brought a very good original TCM vibe to it and the story was different but good to a extent. Loved the cameos of Gunnar, Marilyn and Bill. Thought it was awesome and the beginning was very good. It starts off where it left off but for the people who have no clue or seen the original well they'll be there confused watching it. "Half of the audience" I thought the Main girl was good but there is many twist and things off about the film for sure. I for one thought Daniel Yeager the new Leatherface, Bubba or his new name Jediah. Did a fantastic job playing Leatherface. Captured Gunnar's movements and the Character very well. The gore was awesome except for some CG crap but Greg helped do the effects and made it great so special effects were very good. This move is predictable but is lots of fun up to the middle. Near the end it gets off track and starts to go down the hill. Let me say this I felt that all the people in the theatre who were watching this film had no clue what was going on because they didn't see the original but for us fans who saw the original understand the opening and story much better. But it's not saying much. Up to the middle was good and end well lacked. Now bad parts of this film.
Acting and dialogue was bad, 3D Just lacked like it was cool and all but could of been better, Main Girl was clumsy as hell, stupid characters you barely know but hey its a horror flick so what do you expect, Time Period off, Hot girls to distract you from the crap they added in "Not to mention the best friend is a complete Whore 
" , Famous rap/singer cheater,
Cops sucked and were the villain's, some scenes weren't needed, One liners that are stupid and the ending was just like WTF.
I didn't mind it but some just were so pissed and bashed the film because of it. Overall without spoiling it totally if you're a big fan or want a fun movie to watch than go watch it but if you're a harsh movie critic or harsh fan than don't. Case closed for now. I overall had a good time watching it but am stumped with goods than disappointments. Hope this helped a little. Have to see it for yourself to really think about the film.

Was anyone expecting this to be good? Nine out of every ten horror films suck these days anyway.
well at least from what I read it is worst than average. Seems there is a really stupid twist at the end and Leatherface becomes some kind of anti-hero. Usually horror movies get bad reviews but it kinda looks like this really is bad.
Was willing to give it a go, but after that last review I'll definitely skip it...
