I also believe it was mentioned in one of the SDCC videos that Jack Sparrow PF will also feature a light up lamp (on the base) for both regular and exclusive version.

Maybe SS is trying to increase their quality afterall.

This I wouldn't know about. I'm a marvel only collector. The ONLY non-marvel SS statue I would buy is a Braveheart statue...if they made one. I love that movie!

The sculpt is really good. Yeah, the face is the weakest part of the Sideshow version. When I first saw it I didnt like it. Then it kinda grew on me and now Im a fan. Of course I havent seen it in person..so I might change my mind.

I'll be quite honest, I keep going back and forth on this piece. There are times when the face really bothers me, and there are other times I feel like it's growing on me.

You are correct! That was the only light up REG edition SS piece that I know of. Well, we will find out soon enough if that's the case with Thanos.

I posted a thread in the ask SS section last night and asked if the Thanos dio would light up in both editions. Dusty said yes. Both the REG and EX will feature light up versions.

COH= Change of head, then there is a change of head for the Mistress, but if your talking about Thanos then i guess your out of luck

they showed it during comic con and I believe it states the light up feature in the description.

edit: it doesnt specify on the product page...thought it did. Although I think it depended on the ability of the production feasibility of the light up feature...so maybe it didnt work out.

well all i can say is that IF there isn't a light up feature, especially after they've sort of confirmed it in the Q&A's there will be alot of pissed people.
for myself i'll still keep it, just saying others won't be as understanding.

Yep, that would be a big disappointment to many. The Ex ES for this piece is not high for this character, but it isn't low either.

Hmm....personally I don't know if it would a deal breaker for me. Would I be disappointed? Yeah...I would be a little disappointed. But truth be told, how often would I use the light up feature?

It would be cool the first couple of days or so, I would take a few pics and post them. After that, there would probably only be a handful of times during any given year that I would actually use this feature.

For me at least, the light feature falls into the "nice to have" versus the "need to have".
