I don't know...I really don't like the base. At all. And Thanos looks....

No way this is going to be a grail...the ONLY thing it has going for it is the light up guantlet and that Death looks great. I saw this in person at the con and it looks like crap. His entire chest sculpt is just...obviously off and his teeth look goofy. I don't care if this lights up, I cancelled my EX preorder.

sadly, 100% agreed. They really fudged up thanos. His body portions seem really akward as well. But I didn't think lady D was all great either. When I saw ss pics I was like "wow" and in person "meh'

People who don't pick this up are going to hurt themselves when they realize how AWESOME this piece is. They will come up with all kind of reasons to say this piece wasn't worth picking up. I think this piece will go for mad money someday. I think it looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

I agree, the face is a real turn off to the point where I am thinking cancel. If this is a grail then so be it but that won't change my mind and I've passed on "grails" before. I'm holding out that Sideshow will make a last minute change but I kinda doubt it. The "only thing that this has going for it is the lights.

Not getting the face hating at all. It might not look 100% identical to the comic interpretation...but it doesnt look bad. And the proportions are off...because Thanos' proportions ARE off....

Anyway, wouldn't it be awesome if Sideshow decided to, at the last minute, add in a switch out head for Thanos that looks more classic?

Ooh, a pic that actually shows it. Now all I need is for TOE to post pics of the switch like he said he was gonna a few pages back, and I'll believe (or for Sideshow to do some official announcement).

Don't get me wrong. I really do want to believe. I've had this on PO since day one, and I'm really excited about it regardless.

Anyway, that pic is from Ironlungs, and if he says it lights up I'll believe just because of that.
