Ugh, talk about clubbers' remorse - you know, when your grinding with a chick all night in the low light atmosphere of the club and when the light comes on and you realize her body is tight but her face looks like it got hit with a bag of nickels? That's what's going on here with Thanos - that in-hand pic is fugly. But since my EX is en route I supposed I'm committed. But it's cool - I'll just do him- uh, look at him from behind like old times

I do see what you're sayin', SY. But, I can really only see a mild resemblance between the pics you posted and the BD Thanos. I don't think it has the complete classic feel to it. Don't get me wrong. I do think it's a great piece!
Like I said, I used to own it. I don't buy statues I don't like.

but he looks really good with the surfer!

So if you have the surfer this is a MUST!... I actually like this statue of over bowens..( yeah i owned bowens original one) the reason the scale is one the detail on the base is really nice also. The face is alright, thanos does look PIMP with Death and the falling heros by his side. I think SS when another route with the face because the sculpt would look too close to bowen.
As for the scale i'm happy with it as you can see surfer looks almost in scale. WIN!

I wonder if the broken bases are do to "ruff' shipping this time of month? or it's just poorly constructed? Gonna go with B, with a hint of A.
