I just got my shipping notice for my Thanos replacement. I just hope he gets here in one piece this time.

Did you get a partial refund?

It's weird. When I first called about it, I was told I had the option of a replacement or partial refund. When I finally got the RMA and started hearing about broken shields showing up for the replacments, I called and asked for the partial refund. The returns woman said they aeren't doing it at this time and if I still wanted a new one. I didn't feel like waiting till April for a new one, so I declined and said I would just hold onto mine. This seemed to catch her off guard and said no one should have to settle for a "broken" statue. She said she would get back to me to perhaps offer a partial refund, but as of yet, haven't heard back.

Anyone know for sure what the refund amount is they are even offering?
I ask because at some point in time there will be no more replacements and the only option will be to take the money or do a complete refund I assume? I know with Scarlet Witch they only offered $25, and as much as Thanos cost, $25 would be a slap in the face.

My replacement arrived today, busted shield again. THey didn't even attempt to put any additional padding around it or anything. Also they lazily painted around the seam of the gauntlet and the arm, so when I turn on the light up feature you can see light shining out from underneath his glove. Im so fed up with this. They need to just let me break the damn thing and send me a replacement over and over until its right. The having to pack it up and make a trip out of my way to ship the thing back is annoying. I just emailed them to see what the options are so who knows.

Sux to see those pictures. Hope they fix the problem.

Anyone knows what happens to the returned damaged statues? I'm wondering if they make new base or statue and use the same edition number as the return damaged ones to put on the new ones. Cause if not, that would greatly affect the edition number of 600. With the number of problems, I'm estimating that there's about 400 that's not broken.

That's a great idea. Easy to do and it will help keep Sideshow honest. I still can't believe that SSC would knowingly send out a return/complaint as a replacement for someone else. I hope there is another explanation.
