Finally got a perfect Thanos. I got the same edition number as the one I had so I don't know if SS made new bases or used the old ones. Also, SS tested my Thanos with the base to see if the lights are working properly cause there's some scratch marks on Thanos' feet with the red paint from Thor's cape. Overall, I'm finally happy with my Thanos statue. I hope the rest of you get your replacement safely.

Congrats, boba! Sucks that even they can't insert Thanos without getting the red paint on his boot. Proof that it was a horrible friggin' design. When I finally finish paying my flexes, I'm going to try to use some sort of soft barrier between the boot and the cape to see if that helps.

Hey, risingstar! You're from Canada, right? One question. If I request for an exchange or a refund, am I responsible for the return or will they(SS) provide a shipping return label?

It's generally a 2 step process: 1) Send an e-mail stating your damage claim. In their reply, they will ask for a pic of the damage. 2) Once they've agreed with your assessment of damage, they will ask for a pic of the statue with the head broken off or something. Then you will get sent a replacement. I would imagine the same goes for the refund (I suggest asking for a credit). They won't ask to have the item sent back. It's not worth the trouble.

However, if you get the refund from SS, you will likely have to go through the headache of filling out other paperwork to get back the import taxes you paid to the gov't. It's not a major headache, but you'll still have to fill out the paper work. The wait time to get that tax money back is about three weeks.

Thanks a billion, risingstar! I hope they tell me to destroy Spiderman's base! I really wanna go "Thor" on mine!:blissy

I have yet to shoot them an e-mail about my predicament, though. Will definitely ask them to just send me Thanos. I'm scared. So scared!...:crying

Wow when I set up my Thanos Dio I didn't get any red on his boot.

Yeah, I didn't have any problems either. You just have to take it slow, line it up, and insert very slowly and carefully.

Please guys...try to fight the urge to turn the above quote into anything sexual.:wink1:
