I like the design, the only thing I didn't like was the lack of articulation and these fix that. It's just a matter of the paint scheme I like showing up.

That Bambaboss looks...disgusting. And not some kind of modern usage of the word to mean something good. I just mean it looks incredibly unappealing. Yuck. They just slapped some stuff on it. It gets worse and worse with every iteration.

So I guess the thing people don't like about the Bambaboss design is it's weirdness. I've been trying to puzzle that out. "Disgusting" is basically just another way of saying "odd" or "weird".

I tend towards liking the unusual, often just because it's novel and for no other reason. So makes sense I'd be into it.

Bambaboss doesn't appeal to me either. I don't hate it but there's nothing I find cool about it. The new Bamba looks bit of mess.

Out of curiosity what is it you don't like about it? I always find critique more interesting than complaint.

I don't care for the general design. To me, it looks like a PVC pipe with Armstrong legs. It just doesn't fit in with anything else in my collection at all.

I also don't like Designer Vinyl toys/statues like Dunnys or Mighty Muggs and all that either, if that helps explain things...

I actually thought all WWR bots were just tubes of vinyl with varying lengths of arms and legs attached and then given some pouches and a gun. All but those squares of course. I like everything though and I tend to go through fads.

I'm interested in GiD bamba, and a random one sounds fun if I can afford. They look cooler clothed and articulated, but what caught my eye were some really awesome photos of a red and blue one hanging around random places I saw somewhere. That and GiD in general. Oh and that plume of smoke.

Gotcha, it's just an aesthetic thing rather than something specific. I get that. I don't like hyper real stuff, not because there's anything wrong with a specific thing but just in general.

I do rather like designer vinyl stuff. Don't buy any because it's generally more expensive than I want to pay for what it is, but I dig the aesthetic. For me it's really cool to have something with that vibe with a bunch of articulation, and it's a really weird design at that. So bonus for novelty.

I can see and can agree with a design like this new, articulated Bambaboss. But I don't dig the color of the previewed Panda version. Perhaps when more color versions starts to show up, one or maybe two will be appealing to me. Of course, the pricing is also a factor to consider if it is something I would want to buy.

Meanwhile, got my WhiteMother Supreme NOM few days back. No surprises when I opened the box. Good thought out on 3A's part to include a stand and they are still more thoughtful enough to give white lady a white stand (the black lady got a black stand). Worth complementing 3A for this. Many manufacturer will think that the stand is only for displaying and wouldn't care for having it match the figure's primary color.
Made a helmet for her. Something I had wanted to do right at the moment I added her into my cart. The awkward canister between her legs is removed as well as it's harnessing. I want to do more with her but had no idea of what else to do at this moment. Some trial fitting will commence later and hopefully, I can decide on something after it.

As for the new bambaboss, I'm in the don't like it camp. It seems to change the design quite a bit from some robot like kid in a hoodie and shorts to a robot with sweat pants. I don't like the shoulder joint either.

Yeah GID is great, and I only have one Gid, the other was the Blind Box, and I got the blue one !
