Its was all about robotech, transformers and the amazing thundercats.

Im a massive macross than now but still think robotech is great easpeacially the new generation.
Robotech will always be one of my all time favorites, that show was like crack to me, I'd always rush home after school to catch it and I always wanted for Rick to hook up with Lisa instead of that bimbo Minmay. :D

Those are my favorites too. My top 5 that I remember being glued to the tv for after school are:

1. Transformers
2. G.I. Joe
3. M.A.S.K.
4. Thundercats
5. He-Man
My Top 5:

1. Transformers
2. Robotech
3. Voltron
4. Thundercats
5. He-Man

I loved Thundercats and Masters of the Universe.

But Duck Tales will always be my all time favorite cartoon
Damn, how the ^^^^ could I forget Ducktales? It kicked so much ass, truly a classic cartoon!! :rock I have the first season on DVD, need to find out if others were released.

Before these came out on DVD, I bought a bootleg copy of every episode from ebay. So many little references to pop culture and history (like Family Guy). There was even a LOTR reference in one of the episodes.

I forgot all about Ducktales too. That was a fun cartoon. I loved it when Scrooge(I think that's his name) swam in his money.:lol

Of all the 80's toons Robotech was one that I could never get into. I don't know why but it didn't appeal to me at all.

There are two more volumes after the first one that came out on DVD (I have all 3 :lol). The 4th and last volume does not have a release date yet, but hopefully it comes out soon.
The Treasure of the Lost Lamp movie is also available on DVD, but only as an exclusive from the Disney Movie Club or that reward thing. That's how I got my free copy, using those Disney Movie reward points.

I have volume one and Volumes 2 & 3 are available on Amazon. Guess what I'll be getting for my B-Day next month! :D
