Those are my favorites too. My top 5 that I remember being glued to the tv for after school are:

1. Transformers
2. G.I. Joe
3. M.A.S.K.
4. Thundercats
5. He-Man

My dad worked at Sears at the time and he brought home all the toys that were returned for one reason or another so I had lots of stuff from all those lines.

Finally someone gives M.A.S.K. some love, great show.

I loved Thundercats and Masters of the Universe.

But Duck Tales will always be my all time favorite cartoon

Hell yeah, Disney Afternoon rocked when I was a kid, Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck.

Who didn't love Gizmo Duck back in the day, "blatherin blatherskite!"

Inspector Gadget!! Heathcliff was a total Garfield rip off, but still fun to watch. Don't think I ever saw the Godzilla toon though.

Heathcliff started in 1973, Garfield in 1978. Other than orange with black stripe cats, they are nothing alike.

I cried when they killed Prime too.

I had pretty much all the Transformers, He-Man, Thundercats, had the Die-Cast Voltron (Lion and Vehicle) and Robotech toys and G.I. JOE's just to name a few. I'd kill to have all that back! I told my Mom I'll never forgive her for getting rid of all of it.

Same here. I know my collection would be even more kick ass if I still had some of those. Thats why the remakes of these toys is really great.

I lost a lot of my GI Joes though just being a kid. We lived on a farm for a long time and I lost several of them down this drainage hole. The rest I blame my mom.

Turtles rocked too! There will never be another era of cartoons like the 80's.

I agree. I've watched some of the newer stuff over the years and it just boggles my mind that anyone can enjoy this stuff.
