Obviously I'm big into the hype of this release, so of course, I'm happy to read this kind of stuff.....but, I don't know how anyone can accurately determine these kinds of numbers. I guess if I were Sony, I'd be happy to hear it, but wouldn't invest TOO much into it.

Ah. I just read that new footage is supposed to be broadcast during the New Year's Eve special, BUT I'm hoping this leads to something different on the website.

Ah crap....apparently, the countdown ends at 10:00 PM EST on Dec 31, which means I'm guessing it'll be footage. People will still be up. You'll have a decent crowd gathered by then. Perfect time for that to be unveiled then, I assume. I'm hoping for something else though. We just got a trailer. I don't need anymore footage for a least a few months.

The new website shows Harry working on a computer. If you note closely, it says the the Max Dillon Experiment was 'approved by H. Osborn,' so I wonder just how in charge Harry really is.....

Hope that they ACTUALY do it. That, and that alone will redeem this film series for me.
It'll show respect for the source material, and a comitment to BETTER storytelling than we've come to expect so far from sonyman.

If you guys looks closely in the trailer, there's a quick glimpse of a girl looking out a window after a destroyed street. Rumor is that is MJ. Granted, I know she's not supposed to be in the movie, but I'm wondering if one of her clips slipped in the trailer. The outfit of the person in question is identical to that of Shailene Woodley's on set.

I've just noticed its gotten to where it's painful to join a discussion in basically any comic-based movie thread these days. Its cringeworthy to read them. They're all nothing but neverending slap fights

Oh, I agree. Majority of it is all negative stuff. And the little positives that get thrown in there are 'swept under the carpet.'

People are entitled to their opinions though, but yeah... When I read stuff at SHH, I see 'horrible', and this and that. But I don't really read how they could have improved. It's mostly 'Sony screwed up again'. And even the constructive comments are focusing on the 'negatives' and not really what was done right.

But again, I can guarantee you that ALL of those people will still see it. Sony wins and will continue to do as they please. And rightfully so, IMO. If that many people have a problem with it, then the numbers should reflect that. But they won't. This thing will be a monster of a success, I predict. I'll be shocked if it isn't. The 'hype' train is already gaining steam, 5+ months out.
