For me it's not really the Raimi suit that's the problem, but the guy wearing it (not just Tobey)

He's too bulky, not slender enough

Although the ASM 2 suit is incredibly similar, the physique of Garfield and stunt guys in it makes it look better

The head shape has that Spidey look as well, he always had that alien head thing goin' on

I also really liked the ASM suit, it's gotta a really slick and cool look to it

Wait, Spidey 1/2 are good movies, Spidey 2 is actually an excellent movie.

At one point it was considered to be one of the best cbm.

Still is for many, makes the upper top 5.

Raimi's was based on the early original Spider-Man comics, where he wasn't a scrawny looking kid like now.

The only thing I don't like about the new suit is the webbing doesn;t look like webs, just crossing straight lines...

I think Ditko, Romita, and Jr are my favorite Spidey insporations and I think Raimi Spiderman did a pretty good job repping any of them.
