there are countless of spider man comicbook panels on the web that disagrees with you. LOL :lol

All I'm saying is that if I were spiderman and a loved one was laying dead there, I would take off the mask, providing there's no one around, but know very little about Spiderman :lol I'd like to start reading though, but there's too much stuff.

Goblin doesn't have a mask either. I don't get these people who sign on to play superheroes/villains who wear masks and then contractually demand face time. That's one of the things that earned Urban a LOT of respect when he played Dredd. He knew Dredd kept his helmet on and had zero issue with it.
Yeah, and now Urban is in some crappy futuristic cop TV show, while most of those other guys keep getting work in major movies. . .while I also respect what he did, and wish it happened with more movies (Thor only wore his freakin' helmet for about 5 seconds total in all the movies combined), it's totally rational for actors to want to show themselves as much as possible, and get attention and publicity that will help keep their career going.

I don't think Urban going unmasked in Dredd would've altered his career path differently. His biggest claims to fame so far have been what, supporting roles in two LOTR flicks, Star Trek, DOOM and Chronicles of Riddick? Yeah, Dredd wouldn't have made a difference. :lol

Yeah. I don't see the problem in this scenario.

Better to properly see his anguish instead of a blank face with disembodied yelling.

Well I guess my point is, it didn't do him any great favors. Might not have mattered much anyway, but if I were an actor I wouldn't want my face covered either.

Then don't go for masked heroes/villains. Simple as that. You mentioned Thor earlier, but I think that wasn't so much a decision for vanity's sake as it was for practicality. The helm didn't look as presentable as it does in the comic, one of those things that doesn't translate well from the page to the screen.

I thought it looked great. Apparently it was uncomfortable for Hemsworth, which is the main reason he didn't wear it much.

That's ok, Thor doesn't even wear the helmet in the comics anymore anyway, until he's way older and becomes King Thor, it's rare to see him using it.
