See, I don't think this is true at all. I've made posts about how great the new suit is, I also have posted on how I like the Rhino mech thing from a design point of view even though its not how I want the Rhino to be. Yeah, I've had people a couple people post responses like, "Really? you think that crap looks good?". I just don't respond, I already stated I liked it, so someone else doesn't like it whoop dee doo.
If someone doesn't like Electro, whats wrong with them venting it? When everyone jumps on the defensive train it just makes it adversarial rather than a conversation. Its hard to listen to someone using the argument that they are tired of people whining about Electro, when they are actually discussing the movie, but you are discussing themtheir opinion, and insulting them by calling them whiners, that has nothing to do with the movie. There will never be "civil" discussion when treating people like that.
To the hypocrites, and you know who you are, come close to the screen I want to tell you something:
I'm guessing your referring to me right?
The problem is that with Dave's post, there's already an established doulblestandard. If someone posts a dislike for the film, whether it's the first or the tenth time (after seeing an issue hasn't been fixed in a new preview) and then it's followed by 4 gangbang posts from the usual suspects with "BESTUST MOVEE EVAR!!!" or just "I disagree" followed by nothing else, as we've seen repeatedly and incessantly in this thread, it's no less insulting. It completely devalues the legitimate criticism and opinion of another freak with blatant and intentional hyperbole. So I would argue, there's zero practical difference between typing "this movie's garbage" and "this movie's awesome" and not expanding upon the post with why (regardless if it was an issue previously stated). The only perceived difference is those who think it's great are too immature to deal with those who are disappointed with what they're seeing.
Great thing about film is the debates its all subjective no harm in pointing or flaws or praising it .But now since the film was called garbage this topic has a target on it .
Joel Schumacher wil be pleased once he learns that his Batman movie is now protected here.
Only three people commented on that post. It's not a big deal. It's been called worse. It's not even like they attacked jye either.
People actually criticized against the amazing spiderman. It's just another case of if your a fan of this movie your the bad guy. Your a "naked chest bumper". Nobody in this thread thinks amazing spiderman is perfect but they also have a right to be hype and say wow that looks cool. When that green goblin pic came out we all shared our disgust. The usual people just like to whine on the same topic.
You can hate this movie all you like but don't ingrain it every single day your hatred for it. Why don't we let jyes little post go and move on.

From what I've experienced, posting ANYTHING negative about the film makes me the bad guy. Jye's post, meant to be playful also got trolled and brought Dave into this thread to deliver a ridiculously absurd doublestandard because of the incessant reports by those who can't deal with criticism. You wanna keep lying?

From what I've experienced personally, posting ANYTHING negative about the film makes me the bad guy. Jye's post completely disproves your claim. It was meant to be playful but also got trolled and brought Dave into this thread to deliver a ridiculously absurd doublestandard because of the incessant reports by those who can't deal with criticism. Well saidI've made several posts about what I like that I've seen, I've made several posts about the things that I don't like. The people jumping on me when I make positive posts in this thread are doing the exact same things that people are doing when I make remarks about what I don't like. Alot of us may fall in the midground and like some of what we've seen and dislike what we've seen, but you know just as well as I do theres as many people who are going to disagree with anything negative put out in this thread regardless of the vailidity of the concern as there are people going to disagree with any positive, no matter how positive it looks.
Spin it how you like, I don't care if you're pro or con, if you're going to type the same answer over and over regardless of quality of what is being discussed, without any consideration of what the poster is trying to say, both parties are doing the exact same thing.
