For a movie with Spidey I think Eddie would be the way to go, but for a solo movie in the Webbverse I think Flash would be ideal as he's more independent.

Agent venom is basically an amalgamation of Spider-Man, Venom, Captain America and Punsher. He has his own supporting characters and objective. That would lends itself better for a solo set in the same continuity

I never read the flash venom if they were going that route i would start to build his character in AMS2 .

Anyone watched those three clips ?

Norman dies in this film

It was really good, imo. Flash lost his legs in the War and was given the opportunity to host the symbiotic for no more than 24hr at a time and go on spec ops missions. He struggled to control it and went all Venomous sometimes, was a good conflic., he battled alcoholism, his dad's death and his relationship with Betty, while being blackmailed by a villain and had to go on a road trip with the psychoJack O Lantern, his nemesis, which was really funny

No man. We need Eddie first. If and if Gwen dies in this movie than the symbiote would make a perfect addition to for the third movie and it could introduce Eddie Brock. Venom would make a great addition for the fourth as heis spideys most feared and probably most popular opponent.

I'd rather see the newjack Snake Eyes Venom in a movie.
Its something unique, Spiderman has a billion enemies on deck, why bring Venom in as Eddie Brock? Its unneeded, its not like they are going for comic accuracy, Spiderman isn't going to go with the Avengers and X-Men to a make believe planet created by the Beyonder between movies and attract the symbiote, nor will he return to Earth and have Reed Richards help him get it off.

Hell, they could even have something seemingly innocuous like Flash getting hit as a bystander by some experimental OSCORP tech in a Spiderman movie as an Easter Egg as to what develops in the solo movie.

Then at the very least, theres some possibilties with cross movie promotions as well,

Where is everyone getting the idea that Gwen's going to die cause of her clothes?

I don't know what the clothes issue is, but I thought most people assumed she would die because historically, shes a short lived character in the Spiderman comics.

That, along with Emma Stone’s non stop hinting of it. Also MJ was supposed to be in this film, but was removed to focus on Gwen/Peter’s relationship. I would be shocked if she doesn’t bite the dust in this film.

Apparently she goings to London but is led back to NY hoping Harry don't kill her.

Do we really NEED to do a Venom solo movie? Why not focus on these interesting Sinister Six movie ideas?

A Venom movie will probably end up him being the "Lethal Enforcer" and will be Sony's take on Fox's Wolverine movies. The "anti-hero Spider-man".

I wouldn't mind if they have Venom in the "Sinister Six" movies but he should be there first before they decide to embark on a Venom solo flick.

And if it's going to be Venom, it's going to be Eddie Brock. "Agent" Venom in my opinion wouldn't work out so well...we already got Captain America flicks, we already had Punisher ones and I think the Agent Venom would follow the route of those.

I think Fox should focus on the "Sinister Six" movie. That is one interesting concept that NONE of the movie studios with Marvel licenses have done yet. The dynamic of trying to get fans to "root" for the villains would be very interesting, as well as building the characters up to battle Spider-man in a future sequel.

took his mask off worthy to show his bo0b0o face. if that's for harry or norman...that would be awkward.

Because it is better to Give Venom his own movie and focus only on him, No Aunt May, No Mary Jane No Spiderman.

That way they can give him the time to tell his story. And then when he joins sinister six he won't just be shoehorn in there
