So, they seem to have a Venom solo in the works.
Not sure if it's been confirmed which version yet but which version would you fans like in the Webbverse, Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson?
I would do the Eddie route give it one more try.

For a movie with Spidey I think Eddie would be the way to go, but for a solo movie in the Webbverse I think Flash would be ideal as he's more independent.
Agent venom is basically an amalgamation of Spider-Man, Venom, Captain America and Punsher. He has his own supporting characters and objective. That would lends itself better for a solo set in the same continuity
Where is everyone getting the idea that Gwen's going to die cause of her clothes?

I don't know what the clothes issue is, but I thought most people assumed she would die because historically, shes a short lived character in the Spiderman comics.
That, along with Emma Stone’s non stop hinting of it. Also MJ was supposed to be in this film, but was removed to focus on Gwen/Peter’s relationship. I would be shocked if she doesn’t bite the dust in this film.

Do we really NEED to do a Venom solo movie? Why not focus on these interesting Sinister Six movie ideas?
A Venom movie will probably end up him being the "Lethal Enforcer" and will be Sony's take on Fox's Wolverine movies. The "anti-hero Spider-man".
I wouldn't mind if they have Venom in the "Sinister Six" movies but he should be there first before they decide to embark on a Venom solo flick.
And if it's going to be Venom, it's going to be Eddie Brock. "Agent" Venom in my opinion wouldn't work out so well...we already got Captain America flicks, we already had Punisher ones and I think the Agent Venom would follow the route of those.
I think Fox should focus on the "Sinister Six" movie. That is one interesting concept that NONE of the movie studios with Marvel licenses have done yet. The dynamic of trying to get fans to "root" for the villains would be very interesting, as well as building the characters up to battle Spider-man in a future sequel.
