In pretty good company I'd say? Especially Nuclear Man
(I'm leaving X-men out even though Halle Berry is ****ing ******** looking)
With that reach, maybe FOX should call on you to play Reed.

Gobby's so nice he makes the list twice! Could have been worse.
LOL Exactly.
I think the others here share my views for the most part. I never cared for SM1 Gobby, but I think he does somehow look better in juxtaposition with the crazy Beetlejuice guy here. I thought Doc Ock was a'aight. Imagining him wearing green and yellow spandex isn't an improvement over a guy with slacks and a trench coat or whatever it was, so maybe that was the best we could expect. I am no fan of Spider-Man 3, so I wouldn't say I'm nostalgic for it. I haven't intentionally watched it since seeing it at the theater. But like others, I thought Sandman was perfect--just like the comic, but not cheesy and no one seems to have complained at the time--while Venom was pretty good, though a crappy character shoehorned in. He could have been bulkier, but. . .I think that so far, ASM loses the villain beauty contest with the Raimi films by a pretty dang wide margin.
Agreed.
That's my point really. I never thought that the Dafoe Goblin look was anything special and thought it was goofy (though, I think people might have been a little harsh on it). I remember looking through the SM1: Official Art book and being really disappointed after I saw all the great concept looks (art, drawings, prosthetic and practical effect prototypes).
In retrospect though now that we have this abomination? Atleast the Dafoe Goblin evoked a Goblin with the mask and his tactical armor looked alright. This one makes the old one look good. That's not nostalgia (because, like you said, I don't like Spider-Man 3 at all), that's my current perception seeing this,
Yeah, I'll take the "toyish" action figure Goblin that could be found at Toys R Us any day.
Now just to be clear, this is just my view on the looks. Personally, I think Dehaan might play the Harry/Villain role quite well (like Dafoe did with Norman). I think he's a pretty damn good actor. The look of his character though from a design perspective? It's pretty awful. That isn't his fault though.
would take practically anything over the Green armored suit. I just couldn't take it seriously.
When it makes you more comfortable, for sure.Listen it's all subjective isn't it?
Not really no. Begins was Batman.I gots to know.
Do you like Batman's TDK/TDKR suit?
When it makes you more comfortable, for sure.
You called ppl haters for nonexistent nostalgia factor while hating on something old to prove that something new is better.
I would pay $100 to see a movie where Spidey joins the FF as "The Amazing Bagman."
I gots to know.

It's that the design of the villains is horrid, absolutely laughably horrid, and there's a contingent here that swears to all that's holy that they're the best thing to happen to civilization since electricity. The designs aren't even remotely reminiscent of the source material, but you have certain people finding obscure pics from a single panel and claiming it's straight cloned from the page.
That said, the suit and the fact that they're likely going to kill Gwen this flick are about the only intriguing aspects we've seen. A shame, really. There should be loads more to be excited about with this film.
Don't even get me started on the Zimmer soundtrack.
Thank Christ I gave the right answer.Okay, good. Atleast you're consistent.
I was about to get all "WELL THEY'RE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME, BRO" on your ***.
Pretty much what I was going for.
Nobody said that? Nobody ever said these designs were the greatest thing since electricity? We all shared all problems.
Stop swearing up and down that the fans think this is perfect. Nobody said that and ever will. Most people just happen to like a new direction.
. . .Thor 2 which IMO weren't that damn great.
Nobody said that? Nobody ever said these designs were the greatest thing since electricity? We all shared all problems. Just because some are excited for the movie doesn't mean we think it's a masterpiece. But it's cool to ride marvels nuts with all the crap they did with there characters and releasing decent movies like iron man 3 and Thor 2 which IMO weren't that damn great.
