I'll see it cause it's Spidey, but yea he is too scrawny and that suit design flat out sucks.
And The Phantom was a fun pulpy romp.
I'll be watching this because I support my comic book movies 100% (even...cough...The Phantom), but I can already say I won't believe at all that Garfield's anorexic frame can take the beating Toby's could. So belief will be suspended as if seeing an Angelina Jolie action flick, which is a goddam shame.

The Lizard is actually one of the reasons im Not Looking forward to this,
I will totally watch this, I don't know if Ill go to the theaters or just wait for the movie to reach the cheap movie theater,
But I'm behind this, I really Doubt it will be as bad as SM3, that's almost impossible, I mean, sure it might be bad, but not SM3 bad
I'm just afraid that the Lizard will look like crap, who knows,
The top 5 reasons I wanna see ASM:
1. The Lizard
2. Gwen Stacey, Emma Stone
3. I know it will be better then SM3
4. Andrew Garfield is a MUCH better actor then Tobey McGuire (Unless he's crying)
5. The direction seems more realistic then the last movies.
Not to mention, if this gets a sequel maybe we can actually see Venom done right.

Okay, here we go:
1.The comics are the "canon," and I think this would do well to stick to it more. SPIDER-MAN 3 was bad partly because it veered so far from Lee/Ditko canon. For example, Peter's parents were killed by the Red Skull, but I bet we won't see that.
2. Think it looks like an over designed committee decision. I know a thing or two about design (its my profession.) Still, it's my opinion. My blind? What about my window? Do you mean "you're blind?" Oh. Burn.
3. They are pretty far from the established look of Ben and May Parker for my taste. Your mileage my vary.
4. Going back to high school is fine, but this seems awfully forced. Gwen Stacy? If you said Betty Brant or Liz Allen I would be happier. Crickets. You have no idea of whom I speak, do you?
5. Kid's weird looking. Big hair. Long neck. Might be a great actor, but he just looks silly to me in that Spidey suit. Anybody here remember when ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY ran the first shot of Maguire as Spidey? All fears were allayed. Not here.
TDKR is not the only film I'm looking forward to this year, but its a sad state of affairs when Spidey is my #2 favorite comic character of all time and I couldn't care less about this reboot.

Thats hilarious becuase omg. We havent even gotten a trailer yet nor did we even see the suit fully in motion on screen. O boy the big hair thing again. What do you want a buzzcut ?
Betty brant who works at the bugle and never went to peters school ? Nah wouldnt work well. Liz allen the popular chick who gets with the nerd at the end of the movie. Done before except with mary jane. Gwen stacy is a better choice since her story is trajic. Again instead of saying O man this reboot sucks why don't you wait for the trailer which comes out somtime next week. You can saymake btter judgements after you see footage.

It's really nice not giving a ____ what others think about stuff. Some of you should try it. Looking forward to this, we'll see how it turns out. Can't be any worse than the sub-par Raimi movies. (yeah i said it they just weren't that good)
